eBooks FAQ
What eBooks are currently available to read the Message on?
Voice Of God Recordings has published all the sermons of Bro Branham in 14 separate
“eBooks” on three different eBook stores; Kindle Store, NOOK book, and Apple iBook Store. These
are the three major eBook vendors. The following devices use one of these two platforms.
None of the readers are sold by Voice Of God Recordings. They are sold and supported
by the device makers. The Kindle and the Nook are designed for reading eBooks
only. The other devices will require special software (an eBook app) in order to
read eBooks on them. Each store has its own reader software that works on different
devices available for free.

Which eBook should I get?
Our recommendation depends on how you would use the device, your comfort level with
technology, and the amount of technology support you have access to from friends
and family members. All four options require a little bit of tech knowledge to set
up properly. Options to help you decide:
- Ask technical friends and family.
- Visit a Best Buy, Barns and Noble, and Apple store to see the Kindle, NOOK, and
iPad in action.
- Download the different apps to your cell phone or PC for free and buy the same year
from each store. This will allow you to check out each app so you get the one you
like best.

How do I get the Message on a Smart Phone or iPod Touch?
We recommend downloading the Kindle app from the app store that your phone uses
or from Amazon.com.
The Kindle app is available for BlackBerry, iPhone, Windows 7 phones and Android
phones. For more information see:
Amazon.com.
The next step is to download the sermons to your phone. To do this run the Kindle
app and use it to access the kindle store. For this you will need access to the
internet. Amazon requires you to set up an Amazon account with your credit card
info so you can purchase eBooks. We suggest setting up your account online using
a computer and their web site. Use the App on your phone to access the store, and
search for "William Branham sermons". You will then buy them one eBook (year) at
a time. As you do, the software will start downloading them to your device.
If you have an iPhone 4 and you want to use iBooks, you can get it from the app
store. You would then use the iBooks app to find and download the sermons.
We do not recommend using the iBooks app option for the iPhone 3G or
iPhone 3GS or the iPod Touch even though the option is technically possible. In
our testing, we noticed it was very slow on these devices. We recommend the Kindle
app on older Apple handheld devices.
After Buying the Kindle or the NOOK, how do I get the sermons loaded?
You use the Kindle itself to access the Kindle store. For this you will need access
to the internet. Amazon requires you to set up an Amazon account with your credit
card info so you can purchase eBooks. We suggest setting up your account online
using a computer and their web site. You then link your Kindle to your Amazon account.
Use your Kindle to access the store, search for "William Branham sermons". You will
then buy the sermons one eBook (year) at a time. As you do, the software will start
downloading them to your device. Barns and Noble has a very similar process for
the NOOK.
How many devices can I put my kindle eBooks on?
Once you buy the sermons, they can be used by any device that is linked to your
Amazon account. Up to 6 devices can be linked at one time. For example you can have
the eBook on your Android Phone and a Kindle, as well as a Kindle each for your
wife and two kids. This would use 5 licenses. You could also attach your parents’
Kindle to your account, and they can also download the sermons from your copy. Please
remember that any device that is linked to your account can download any
eBook from the store using your credit card info in your account. Be careful who
you link to your account.
How much will an eBook cost?
$1.99 for each eBook or year. For all the sermons there is a total of 14 books (47-53
is treated as one year.) All the sermons would cost you $28, which can be shared
across multiple devices using the same account. Prices can vary from country to
country depending on currency exchange rates and taxes.
Why is there a charge?
Creating the eBooks is a very technical and time consuming process, and therefore
costly. A very small part of the cost goes to VGR. Most of it is kept by Amazon,
Barnes and Noble and Apple for the service of delivering the eBooks to you. When
you consider that multiple devices can access the files the cost is truly minimal.
Does the eBooks do grouping and searching?
None of the eBooks are a search engine, and they will not replace The Table for
serious research, including grouping and tagging quotes. They can do a very simple
word search, suitable for finding your place in a sermon as Brother Branham is speaking.
(The Kindle is better at this) They can also do simple highlighting and bookmarking.
It is suitable for finding your place where you stopped reading, or marking quotes
that you like. (The iPad is better at this)
Do I need 3G or Wi-Fi?
3G and Wi-Fi are both methods to access the internet. 3G uses the cell phone network to do so,
and Wi-Fi allows you to access the internet through a computer network. 3G is easier to use, but more
expensive, because it is built in to the device. You simply follow the instructions that came with your
device and you are in the eBook store. We suggest turning 3G and Wi-Fi off after you get the sermons loaded
in order to prolong your battery life. The battery will last much longer without the radios turned on.
Wi-Fi is generally cheaper but a little more difficult to set up. If you have a personal Wi-Fi network
or know someone that does this can save you money. You can also get Wi-Fi access at Star Bucks, McDonalds,
Panera Bread, and many other businesses including sometimes the local library.
