Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

MATTHEW 9:37

There are thousands of souls in the fertile fields of Southern Africa, waiting to hear the Message of the hour. Brother Timothy Skennette, VGR Office Manager in Kimberley, along with his colleagues in South Africa: Brother Keith, Brother Sollie, Brother Ronnie, and Brother Des routinely go into the highways and byways to seek out the predestinated of God. The following is a recent report from Brother Timothy about his trip to the nearby town of Platfontein.

Platfontein (report)

As we entered the rippled dusty roads of Platfontein (a Bushman-village situated about five kilometers from Kimberley city centre), we were amazed to see how much people are living in these mud houses. The only entertainment is a saloon-like shop, where the young people gather to dance, drink, and play games.

Under the trees in the yards some of the old folks were drinking beer and listening to music.

We then decided to take out the Afrikaans Spoken Word books and go from house to house telling them that God hath sent a prophet. To our surprise most of the people had never even heard of the name, William Marrion Branham.

As we told them about the prophet and why he was sent to the this age, they started to become critical of their own churches that just talk about prosperity. They themselves said that there is no more power in their churches, just theology. After we expounded on the Message more and more, people (even those in the streets) asked for some books to read. At the end of the day we ran out of books, and we promised to bring more when we return.

Three homes asked us for services, and we are planning to go down again this Saturday to take a few cassettes and play it to them as they never had the privilege to listen to the Voice of the prophet, and we, that have it in our reach, take it for granted.

To us, it was a blessing and it made us appreciate the Message even more.

God bless you and continue to pray for the Platfontein outreach.
