He Supplies

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Hebrews 11:6

We received this testimony from a brother who trusted the Lord to supply the needs of his family. When everything was going bad and it looked like there was no hope, that’s when Jesus came along.

It was late in the month of August 2016 when the business was completely down. I spent the whole day with no work coming in to sustain my family. I had nothing in the house to eat that night for my children.

It was almost 6pm, and I spoke one thing to God, “Lord you know what my children will eat today for there is nothing that I can do at this point.” I trusted in the Lord for our needs, though the night was already upon my family and me.

God then moved on the scene. Within a few minutes, a customer came in with some work to be done. She paid a large deposit for the requested work, and she also paid some outstanding balances.

Our Lord always answers and knows our needs. Praise be to God, my family and I did not go to sleep that night hungry.

May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you, and may you always find favor before Him.

No matter how bad things look, we have promises from God that are far more real than any trials or tribulations set before us. Our Lord Jesus keeps His promises if we would only believe Him.

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 6:31-34
