Tape Boy

Jericho, right in the line of the damned! But there must have been some tape boys slipped in somewhere, for the predestinated seed. They slipped over to her house and played some tapes. She made her—her own house a church, to receive the message. They still got them, you know.

63-0901M The Token

The Tapeboy team outside of Cape Town, South Africa is going into the northern Cape and into the “Jerichos” of their country.  The mission is to present the Voice of God, hoping to find another Rahab who will accept the Token into her home.

Brother Keith Herne, VGR office manager in Cape Town, sent in the following report.

BROADLANDS PARK

While playing a Message in the open air outreach in Broadlands Park, a young man (Raven), on his way to a drug house opposite to where we were standing, approached us, and confessed his sins. We talked to him, prayed with him, and gave him a Spoken Word book with contact details inside. He decided not to go to the drug house.

Many stopped for prayer as depicted in the images. As we packed up, three people approached us: a man in a wheelchair and two women. The man confessed his hypocrisy of taking Communion just to have wine. The two other ladies confessed that they were on their way to the Shebeen (drinking place). They invited us to their homes for to play the Message there.

The following week we visited them. My family helped me by singing a few songs. The first lady desired to hear the Message in her house every day. We gave her six messages to listen to.

We did a follow up. The lady we gave a Spoken Word book to last time welcomed us back into her flat, testifying how the Message is affecting her. She asked for another book. We are planning to have a open door tape meeting in her place. God also moved and touched many other people who have problems with alcohol.

UPINGTON

Follow up open door with Elizabeth, who expressed her desire to follow the Message. We conducted a very simple tape meeting in her house. She is busy listening to and studying the Message.

Visited the government hospital. Introduced the Message to some people there via the Agapao Tablet. I am so grateful to Brother Joseph for this missionary tool.

I also met the Finance Manager of the hospital. We introduced him to TheMessage.com via info card. He is now in contact with me via WhatsApp because of his interest. Will meet him again when I am going back.

I wanted to go for two days to Askham (200 km from Upington), a rural area. However, because of transport challenges, I was not able to. We hope to get there before the year ends.

Coco, a Congolese who is married and working in Upington as a barber and businessman, is willing to learn more about the Message. I am planning to get an open door at his place to play the Message there at least every 2nd week. Will be playing the Message in French at the Congolese-dominated CBD next time.

There are many places that I desire to reach in the Northern Cape which have never heard this Message, and I believe God will provide a way.
