It’s been another banner year for the branham.org websites! We have four languages available: English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. With those languages, well over 80% of all internet users can read the articles on branham.org.
branham.org is important for a lot of reasons. First and foremost, every sermon that we have from Brother Branham is available for free download on the sermon page. That also includes more than 70 different translated languages! The Quote of the Day is the most popular page on the website. This is a short quote from Brother Branham and a related Scripture. Imagine the impact: more than 15,000 believers hearing the same quote and reading the same Scripture on the same day! The Good News changes almost every day. This is where you can read testimonies, what is going on with the Bride in other parts of the world, and what projects VGR is working on. The Feed is a short bit of information we post multiple times a day. Please give it a glance every time you visit, because there are often prayer requests and important news about the work of the Lord. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. branham.org is full of encouragement and tools for the Bride of Christ.
Here are some interesting facts over the past two years.
- 838,071 different people visited the website in 2016. That’s an increase of 43,333 people over 2015!
- Overall, we had 4,854,927 visits and 13,273,139 page views (hits) in 2016. That’s up from 4,420,720 visits and 12,422,770 page views in 2015.
- 83% are returning visitors, which means they have visited multiple times.
- Every country in the world that has internet access has visited the website in the past year.
- The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) currently ranks 13 among visits per country. That is up from 19 in 2015, and 21 in 2014. We expect the DRC to be in the top 10 from now on because of the 1.4 million believers in that country.
- Visits from Nairobi, Kenya have increased significantly over the past few years, until now, when it passed Jeffersonville as the city that has more visits than anywhere else in the world. Way to go Kenya!
