I would like to testify to the glory of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I read so many testimonies of healing sent in by believers all over the world, and I am uplifted and truly blessed by them. Reading the articles on the branham.org website help encourage me also in my Christian walk with Jesus.
I feel led to testify of the healing I received a few months back. I am currently pregnant and due to give birth in December 2011. I had given birth to a beautiful baby girl in April 2010. My baby was born healthy, but I experienced complications where I lost three liters of blood due to the placenta not separating from the wall of the uterus, and had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital that could deal with such an emergency. My dad, who is a minister in the Message, offered prayer for me, and I believe that it was the Lord Jesus Christ that healed me and was by my side throughout the whole ordeal.
The Scripture keeps coming to me about these signs shall follow them that believe, and with all my heart I know that this is to be true. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever!
I later found out that 9 out of 10 women do not survive this type of complication during pregnancy, and fatalities are high from this even in a civilized country such as Australia, where we have all the specialist treatment available to us. And I know that it was only for the grace and mercy of my LORD that I am alive and well.
During my current pregnancy the devil attacked my mind and tried to instill a fear to give birth again because of my past complications. Not only that, but I was suffering with unexplained pains in my stomach at least two to three times a week, which would leave me at times barely able to walk, let alone stand. This made it difficult to care for my other three children, and at times, I had to phone my husband at work to come home and help me; I was in so much pain.
Then I decided to put in a prayer request to VOGR. What happened in the week after, I will never forget and I will never cease praising my God and testifying of it for His Glory. As soon as my request was sent, I felt so good in my body, I believed with all my heart (And still do! Praise God). This continued for four days, and I mentioned to my husband that I had emailed my request for prayer and that I was feeling absolutely wonderful in my body - no pains.
As soon as I had said this, the very next day saw me doubled up in so much pain that again I just could not walk. I had managed to fix the night’s supper for my family and then had to retreat back to my bed for the pain was absolutely great. And then something happened for two to three days after.
I passed what could only describe as something dead from my body, which did not belong.
I must say that during the whole time that I was doubled in pain, I was still thanking and praising my Lord Jesus Christ for my healing! I remember that I had read in one of our prophet and dear Brother Branham's Message books that the life of the demon that causes the illness must die, and that a person can feel worse off and think that their healing is gone, but in fact it’s a sure sign that you have your healing.
From this time on, I have not had a single pain. My pregnancy is going well, and I know that I will give birth healthily and without complications. Oh for the mercy and grace of my beloved Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
I pray that this testimony is a blessing and help to the Bride of Christ the world over, who are serving the Lord Jesus faithfully, as their testimonies that I have read have been an immense blessing to me. I would encourage all those that love the Lord to continue on and stay with the Message that our precious Brother William Branham came with, for God truly spoke and lived in this man. It truly is a sin to disbelieve. I will never stray from the Message and the Word of God for my life. Both physical and spiritual, depend upon It.
