My name is Maria, I live in Ecuador, and I was suffering with a strong flu since last December 23, 2017. I had such a strong cough that sometimes I could barely breathe. The medicine they gave me did not seem to do any good. My parents were really concerned, and I kept telling them I would be alright (even though I was a bit worried myself).
On Friday, January 5, I was resting and again, a cough fit came and I just could not breathe. I went to the bathroom, and washed my face and mouth many times, trying to somehow clean my mouth and throat. When I returned to my room I noticed I had several messages on my cellphone, but I really did not feel like reading anything. I was so depressed with my condition.
It was then that I noticed one of the messages was a testimony titled "The Quarter". I read how Sister Susan wrote "Healed" on the quarter coin. I felt a sudden joy deep within my heart. It was really something I cannot describe with words. It was a different feeling to anything I have experienced in my life. Something told me in my heart, "Do you remember when Brother Branham once said that you don't need to be in the prayer line to be healed, but you can touch the hem of His garments from where you are standing?" This was really something I had never experienced before.
I thought, "Well, I don't have an American quarter coin, but I have the promise that by His stripes we were healed... I was healed!"
I started crying and words cannot express what I felt at that moment. I got ahold of that promise with all of my heart, and trusted that He is faithful as no one is.
The Lord used that little testimony to help my faith. The flu and cough left me. My throat is perfectly fine. Praise the Lord, I am healed! Completely healed!
God is the High Priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities.
