Wedding Ceremony

Brother Charlie Branham shares a short part of how he and his wife, Sister Linda, were married 50 years ago.

"I asked Billy Paul if he could get a hold of uncle Bill, I was hoping to have him to marry Linda and I. On a Wednesday night in December, I met Billy Paul in the church office and he called Brother Branham on the phone in Arizona.

I asked Brother Branham, “Linda and I have decided to get married and I’d like for you to marry us, Uncle Bill.” We were thinking the month of June to have the ceremony, but couldn’t settle on a time that felt right. He agreed to marry us, but that he would be in Africa in June. Uncle Bill said he was coming back to have a series of meetings in February, and that he would marry us on that Saturday at 2:00pm. It was settled."

Quote from this sermon:

We are minded of the Church that also has agreed to live holy and accept, from the world, separated, and waiting for the Coming of the Bridegroom. May our hearts beat in love for Him. May our minds be upon Him, and waiting and longing for that great Wedding Supper that’s going to be in the air, one day when He does come. Though He tarry, yet He’ll be here.
