Each week we receive letters from prisons from all over the world. Every request for material of Brother Branham is filled and every letter answered. Here are excerpts from a few of those letters we have received.
I came here illegally to earn money for my family, and got caught. Before I came, they told us how to find work, and what to do if caught. I was told to remember your address, and if arrested to use my time for study and spiritual growth. I believe that most were told the same thing, as everyone here has your books and it is easy to see why. This is not taught to us in our churches; this is Truth, and everyone knows it, as all they do is read and cry. Please send me some books, as they do not like to share, and also the address for when I return home.

My marriage is not good, and I was telling one of the inmates here about it. He said he would help me with my marriage. I said how can you help, I am from Guatemala, and we are here. He gave me a book on marriage from William Branham. I understand now, and I would like God to help our marriage be restored. I will be leaving this prison in July of this year, and returning to my country of Guatemala. I ask that you pray for me and my family. My wife suffers from migraine headaches, and I have a son that cannot talk because of the trauma he experienced. Please send me more books in Spanish, and remember us in your prayers.

I want to thank you for the wonderful Bible that you sent me with some Message books. I have been studying the books, and they have helped me very much to understand God and His Word. May God bless you for this precious ministry that you have towards the prisons. I imagine it must be the work of an entire congregation, as a single person could not be doing this, so send my greetings and thanks to all.

A letter cannot contain this all. An inmate was passing through recognized me, and said it's sad to see you reduced to this. I said no brother you are trying to compare; this is all new, and I have been reborn. I was so happy that he did take the book I offered him. See, I fought my way to the top, and have the scars to show it. I had it all, cars, guns, etc., I was the players, player, top dealer. I would spend thousands a week, like nothing. I admit, I got here, set up camp and ran the operation, trusted Allah, and my life was not empty. Then one day there was this big new guy moved in, and I said I have to know this guy. Well, I set with him at a meal, and he said, "Greetings brother." He shook my hand and said be still, he prayed over his grub, I never did that in my life. He said sorry, but I thank my Father for his Mercy. I made a mistake, I told him I pray to Allah, he said ok, but there is only one God, Jesus Christ. He started talking and would not quit. I said how do you know It’s real? He put his big hand on my shoulder, and with a tear in his eye, said, "There is a prophet in the land." We separated, and later he found me, and gave me a book on the "Prophet Visits South Africa." Then I received more books from him. One dark night, I was on my knees with tears coming down my face. Brothers, I had everything I wanted, cars, and boats, whatever, but there was never anything that can compare to the joy, and love of Jesus Christ. I can’t explain the excitement and anticipation when the new book arrives, and I can read the precious words of my Saviour, Jesus Christ. By the way, much to my sorrow, they transferred the big brother right after that, I guess his mission here was over.

About eight years ago, you sent me the Church Ages and the Seals. I have read each one about four times. The problem is that each time I finish, I switch to the other book and it is full of stuff I don’t remember from before. But now I am asking for replacements, I have these so marked up and the pages are falling out; same with my Bible. I am very hard on my Bible, as I use it with each of the books and there are marks, and lines all through it. I don’t understand how someone can say, I read the Ages or the Seals. There is just so much Word in them it would be like saying, I read the Bible. You can’t do it, you might have gone through it, but finish it, I don’t think so, not in this life.

I cannot imagine what it would have been like to meet this God-filled man. The people that surrounded him must have been so blessed. I know the blessing I receive from touching, and reading the books. It is the Word of God.

A book, that’s what it was. Something to pass the time while I sit here. How could I know this little book would change my world. The people, places, and things I use to do are all gone. I look back, and I am amazed at the things I called "life". One book and heavens opened up, and just flooded my soul with conviction, fear, wonder, joy, happiness, and the one I never understood before, a warm glow of love. I felt like I was standing in the sun and I could feel the warmth, and the power. This book, this Message, God’s prophet, it’s my all. Thank God he found me in this place, and thank you for your passion to make this Word available to us.

Brothers, I have read the Spoken Word and I never heard Jesus Christ described in such a manner as this. The love Brother Branham projects makes me cry. Please, I want more.

Thank you for sending the Bible and books. I can truly say that God lives in his Word. I hunger and thirst for more of Him. There is such peace within my soul, and I never knew that I could be so content in jail. I would love to read Brother Branham's Life Story. I know God lived, and spoke through him. The inmate's here are excited to hear the Voice Of God. We are so excited to be a part of his plan.

Without your ministry, I would never have read the Truth. So far, I have read close to fifty of Brother Branham’s sermons. Perhaps when I was a child, there were preachers, but today there are no preachers that preach the True Word of God especially like Brother Branham does. We are such a blessed people to have this available today, especially in the prisons where there is no hope, except for this Message. I remember my first sermon. When I finished it, I knew that he was talking directly to me. It outlined my history and my life, and I had tears rolling down my cheek as I stood with my hand in the air promising I’d never smoke again. That was going on ten years ago. I’ve had a long life. I’m 60 now, and I will be released soon. They asked me what do I plan to do when I’m released. I tell them right up, I’m getting the videos and DVD’s so I can see the Man of God, and hear the True Word of God.

I was talking to another inmate about the Bible, and how confusing it was. He told me about the most powerful book in the world, and it will unfold everything for me. I asked for the book and he said sorry, but he gave me your address and told me just say "Ages". Please, I am waiting with great anticipation. I am told I will never look at anything the same way after reading it. I can’t wait.

I would like to receive a Spanish Bible for my studies. I also have met some brothers here who are receiving books from you of one named William Branham. I liked the books very much especially because he also believes in the water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Here we have ministers that come to preach, but all are Trinitarians so to have Brother Branham teaching, it sounds good to me.
I will be here until the 27th of March, and then I will be deported. God bless you, and thank you for your service.

I would like to know more about Pastor William Branham. Is he still alive? When I read his messages, I feel as if he is right here speaking to me, and giving me spiritual advice. I am sending you a list of the books I would like to have, and I hope that you can send me some even though I cannot pay for them.
