We arrived at work yesterday to the news that our internet lines were still down, and the power outages caused problems with our computer network within the building. The news meant that the crew who had been working on the VGR property for the past two days would get some much-needed help from the ones who were planning on working inside. But even though we all knew that we would spend another day carrying limbs, cutting up fallen trees, and the work would continue to pile up inside the building, there was a big smile on our faces. Why were we smiling?

Reinforcements have arrived! Our brothers from Pennsylvania read the posts on the website and drove all night to help us with the monumental task of cleaning up the many acres of wooded VGR property. What a lift for the tired VGR troops! The love that these brothers showed in making such a sacrifice gave us a renewed strength that lasted all day. Every year, they come to Jeffersonville for Easter a week early to manicure the VGR property for all the visitors to enjoy. When they heard about all the damage we received, they immediately started making plans to get to Jeffersonville. We pray that the Lord will richly bless them for their loyalty.

Our internet lines to the building are still down, so we are not receiving emails. The VGR staff will be outside again today, finishing up the VGR property. We hope to be up and running on Monday.
