Missionary Trip To Thailand

Brother Joel Paramanandam, VGR Office Manager in Madras India, recently visited the country of Thailand and then on to neighboring Cambodia. The following is a report of his trip.

A Trip to Thailand and the Borders of Cambodia.

...and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region. (Acts: 48 – 49)

Our journey to Thailand and to the borders of Cambodia was strenuous, nevertheless a memorable and thought provoking trip as we met people from different walks of life in a Buddhist country. Traveling to different places is an experience in itself but to see the living Word of God manifesting itself ever so strongly along the way and before your eyes is incredible. Such is the story of this trip.

In the midst of millions of people, primarily Buddhists, who tenaciously believe in their faith, amongst people who are incapable of deciphering the right from the wrong, the Lord has set apart a handful of people, the little flock, for His work and also to be His Bride. In the message ‘The Seed is Not Heir with the Shuck’ the prophet states: “He that this great mystery of the God made known, understands, how that God was in Christ reconciling Himself to the world, how that He and the Father were One, how that the great mysteries of the fulfilling of God taking and bringing Hisself, manifested in the age of human beings, and in the stream of human beings, and in the company of human beings; to make His Word manifested in the day, in the eastern rising of the sun, and to do the same thing as the sun sets in the west, to make Hisself manifested in a Bride Church, the Word made manifest.” (The Seed Is Not Heir With The Shuck, 65-0218). The point of the quote being that God has always positioned Himself in the midst of people, the elected ones, in order to manifest Himself to the world. Therefore the Bride always stands in opposition to a world that has strayed away from God’s Word. Nevertheless, the Lord has always had people to represent His Word, no matter which extreme corner of the world one belongs to.

The “Bride Church” situated in Thailand and one other along the borders of Cambodia witness the truth that our living God has sent a prophet to this generation to call out a Bride from every nation, tongue, and tribe. As we traveled 250 km from Bangkok to Aranyaprathet, carrying with us the complete set of MP3 CD’s and Message books, to meet the little Bride, we came across few denominational groups. It was a great joy to stop at these places before meeting the little Bride in order to share our experiences of the word and the Message of the hour. Finally, when we reached the “Bride Church” we were welcomed enthusiastically by the church members as they are not visited by many believers quite often. Distanced, secluded, and tucked away geographically from other believers, our presence was a source of happiness and joy. It was the same for us. After we were introduced to those present in the church, we fellowshipped with them as it was the Lord's Day and later gifted the Word of God to the church on behalf of the Voice Of God Recordings and an MP3 player set for the church.

The Church service was a real blessing to us. Pastor Brother Namoi and his flock were happy to hear the report of the VOGR ministry and our testimonies about what the Good Lord is doing at this end-time through the ministry of Voice Of God Recordings under the able leadership of Brother Joseph Branham. Since there is a great language barrier with only a handful of people competent in English, there is a great need for translating books from English to Thai. On the whole our trip was a great blessing for us. Kindly pray for the believers in Thailand.

God Bless You,
Brother Joel Paramanandam
