Guyana

With a population of less than 800,000 people, Guyana is a little known South American country. It was originally a Dutch colony in 17th century, but by 1815, it had become a part of Britain. In 1966, it gained its independence and later became a democracy. Its population is made up of people of African, Indian, European, Asian, and Indigenous descent, making Guyana a very diverse country.

Most of the people of Guyana speak English, which has been a great advantage in getting the Message to the people in that country. Brother Paul Ojar, a missionary brother with a burden for the believers of Guyana, and Brother Desmond Ross, a missionary brother in Guyana, recently traveled to Guyana to distribute Lighthouse packages and other material to the believers in the northwest part of that country. In all, he delivered 12 full Lighthouse packages, along with solar cells, power inverters, batteries, framed Pillar of Fire and Christ at 33 pictures, thousands of tracts, over 800 cassettes, and clothing donated by Bible Believers Church in Louisville, KY.

Many of the believers live in isolated villages that can only be reached by boat, so his trip was not easy, but, as you will see from his photos, it was worth every moment. The believers of Guyana send you their appreciation for providing missionaries like Brother Paul with the Message material they need to go into the highways and byways, spreading the end-time Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
