There is a time when each of us comes to the crossroads. It may be the death of a loved one or a desperate cry at the altar, but we all have times when we must have a touch from the Lord. Often, it seems that He lets us sink to our lowest depths before He steps on the scene. Brother Terence is a young man from South Africa. He lost his wife in a tragic car accident a little over a year ago. It was in his darkest hour that the Lord gave him a touch that will last him forever. Where did this touch come from? It came from the Word of God. Brother Terence is the voice that you hear reading this letter.

Good morning Brother Joseph,

I deem it the greatest privilege to write to you through email. Your letters to me have been a blessing so much. I think often of you in my prayers. I thank God what He is doing through you for the Bride.

I want to share a testimony with you of what happened to me a while ago.

My anniversary was on the 15 September 2008, and my wife and me would have been married for a year. This Saturday (13 Sept), I was so depressed and wanted to give up. Suicide was the easiest way for me to leave this life and be with my wife, but I thank God who is rich in mercy. He spoke to me.

While I was thinking what would be the quickest way to end my misery, the Lord spoke to me and said, “Give Me just one chance before you think or do something radical.” I said, “Lord what must I do?” The Holy Spirit said, “Pray, and wait for Me.” I prayed and I waited… The Lord led me to listen to Jehovah Jireh. While I was listening I started to feel better, and while Brother Branham started the prayer line, he asked that the people bow their heads, and anyone who needed prayer should raise their hands. I raised mine, and this is what He spoke to me:

Tem problema com a cabeça, não tem, irmão? Hã-hã. O jovem, sentado aí... Causado por um ferimento, não foi, irmão? Hã-hã...?... O irmão teve alguma tristeza também, não é? É uma sombra escura; creio que é sua esposa que o irmão perdeu. Isso mesmo. Não está certo? Erga a mão. Ora, seu problema de cabeça terminou, senhor. Deus honrou sua fé, vai ficar bem agora. (Jeová-Jiré 55-1117)
