And if Daniel, the prophet
of the Lord, could consult Jeremiah's books and bring him to such a
place that even Israel coming out, all of them alive, was coming out of
Babylon to go back to the homeland would cause him to fast with
sackcloth and ashes, how much more ought it to do to the Church of the
Living God to know that time is fading out and shall be no more, and the
coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and the great Millennium ready to set
in? How can we spend wasteless time gambling, swimming holes on Sundays,
no time for the Lord. Gabriel’s Instructions To Daniel 61-0730
There is no shortage of time in prison. Many of the inmates kill time by
watching TV, gambling, or playing games. Some of the inmates have made the best
of their situations, and devoted the months and years of their incarcerations to
learning more about the Lord Jesus. For these prisoners, their prison sentences
were a blessing.
As the inmates grow closer to the Lord, a few of them noticed that they had a
gift. Some of the inmates had no idea that God had given them such talents. It
was when the prisoners immersed themselves in the Word, that their gifts were
manifested.
The brother who draws on the envelopes said that he could barely draw stick
figures, until one day he picked up a pencil and drew a picture of Brother
Branham on his letter to VGR. This is the first picture he ever drew.
The picture of the grapes bears an amazing resemblance to the continent of
Africa. The brother was inspired by the enormous work of sending the Message to
the Bride of Christ in Africa.
The rugged Cross was drawn by a brother just after Easter of last year. He
writes that his theme was, “Resurrection.”
The inmate who drew the picture of the man with broken chains says that the
Lord broke the chains of sin inside the prison walls.
The picture frame was meticulously constructed from toothpicks. Each
toothpick was cut to size and individually glued together. Once the brother
finished, he had no way to send the frame outside the prison. During visitation
hours, he was able to give the frame to his brother with the instructions to
send it to VGR as a gift from him in thanks for all the Messages he receives.
These inmates long to be a blessing to someone outside the prison walls. We
hope their prayers are answered, as you view their artwork.
