The beloved disciple wrote this: "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written." (John 21:25)

How many times has His hand guided us through a potential disaster? If we would only notice, each of us could probably write a book about His great mercy in our lives. All He asks is that we give our lives over to Him, and He will take care of the rest. The Lord Jesus kept this brother's wife in a special place for a little longer than normal to protect her from a potentially serious situation. 

I would like to thank God and share a testimony of His protection.

Yesterday, there was a bank robbery 50 yards from our house and my wife was walking towards the school to pick up my kids as she does every day.

It is a 15-minute walk to the school. She is never late, but yesterday she was 10 minutes late. As she walked near the bank, she saw several police vehicles arriving and even a helicopter and people running around on the street.

Without knowing what was happening and trusting in God she continued on her way to school. What she did not know was that a robbery was happening at the same moment.

Now here is the glorious part. My wife said she was late only this time because she usually has one hour of prayer every day, but today she stayed for two hours on that day for the first time. 

Everything happens in the afternoon here. If she was on time, I don't know what could had happened. Normally, she has prayer from 2:30pm to 3:30pm, but that day she went until 4:30pm. She left home towards the school at 5:20pm. The regular time to leave is 5:10pm.

Yes, my brethren, our God is a wonderful God. He watches over us and delivery us all the time, we often do not even know that we are being protected at certain times.
