There has been a wonderful change in my life since I let Jesus in. Every step of the way has become brighter and better as I climb the gospel stairs to the mark of my high calling in Christ.

I was born in Banana on the outskirts of Nairobi (Kenya) in October of 1978, I was raised up in a Christian home by my father a pastor of the Message of the Hour and mother, they did a great Job in guiding us in the way of the Lord.

However, a man can never be ready for service until God meets him on the backside of the desert where He makes Himself real in the season, as the Bible says that every child that comes to God must first be proven. The backside experience for me began in August 22nd 1999 when I was baptised at a youth retreat in Nairobi after a powerful message had gone forth for a few days. The theme of the retreat was ‘I Have Returned’, and that for me was the final cry of the Mother Eagle before I jumped out of the chicken pen and into the skies flying on eagles wings riding on the winds of faith. I have never looked back since. The feeling I had that afternoon must have been the same one the prodigal son felt when he set his sights on his father for the first time in a long time on the final lane just outside of their home. I knew I got born again. The Lord of grace had come into my heart and I knew He had touched me. I have been growing from glory to glory and He’s been changing me bit by bit. From a Message I had heard preached since I was born into this world to a living reality that I could substantially witness to the world as the transforming power of Christ.

The Lord graciously blessed me with a beautiful bride Peace Ibale and we got married in 2008 December. Subsequently, The Lord blessed us with a handsome baby boy Danny Obadiah Mbugua whom we dedicated to God and is growing into a man under the instruction of The Word of God. Service to The Bride of Christ has never been a decision I had to make. It came without say. From my tender childhood, every day had to be spent serving the bride. As I grew into a man, I realised that there could be no greater honour than this; there was no higher calling, no nobler theme than to be found in the fields working as a labourer for the Kingdom of the soon-coming King of kings. I am extremely privileged to be serving with the Voice of God Recordings Outreach Mission as a humble waiter just going about ‘food business’, - “And once, just a while ago, when You showed the vision, the little tabernacle here, about to store up the Food, that there would come a time when this would all be needed.” 63-0728 - Christ Is The Mystery Of God Revealed. – The time is here when this is needed. I want to be found labouring in the fields of sin bringing in the harvest for it is plenty. We’ll work till Jesus comes. Shalom
