A visit from a good friend

What an honor we have! Imagine standing at the foot of Mount Sinai and looking into the rugged cliffs, knowing that God spoke to Moses on that very mountain. Imagine gazing across the vast Red Sea and envisioning the waters walling up on both sides. Oh, if we could look at the Isle of Patmos, knowing that John the Revelator was once imprisoned there and received the Book of Revelation! We all long to see these special places today, but many of us forget about our own backyard.

In the form of a Light, the Angel of the Lord entered the tiny cabin near the humble town of Burkesville, Kentucky when the Messenger to the Laodicean Church Age was born. In Sabino Canyon, the sword of the Lord fell into the hand of the prophet. The Angels of the Lord were photographed throughout the Arizona sky after they visited the prophet near Sunset Mountain. The Seven Seals were delivered to God’s people in the humble Branham Tabernacle. These places are as special as any in the Bible, and they are here, in many of our backyards.

We recently received a visit from a few old friends. Brother Eladio Silva, his father-in-law, Brother Ruben Reymundi, and Brother Ruben’s wife, Sister Lea, made the trip from Argentina to visit us here at the VGR Headquarters in Jeffersonville. Over the years, Brothers Ruben and Eladio have been faithful distributors of the Message in Argentina, and for the first time, they had the opportunity to visit Jeffersonville. By the letter we received from Brother Eladio, you can see that they did not take these special places for granted.

My dear brother, I am so thankful for allowing me to go to Jeffersonville. Since I came to the Message, my dream was to visit those places that were so dear to me. The city that saw Brother Branham walk, preach, and perform the sign of a prophet of God.

The messages that you have sent for years in the form of books, tracts, cassettes, CD’s, MP3’s and videos, made me fall in love with the places and people that the prophet spoke about in his life. So much that, to me, Jeffersonville was like the city of Mecca for the Muslims; with the difference that my prophet, William Marrion Branham, demonstrated that there is life after death for all those who believe in Him, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

The days seemed endless to start our journey. The closer they came, the farthest they seemed to me. Now, when I think about it, I see they actually passed so fast…at least that is the way I feel!

Can you imagine how I feel? I feel like Michelangelo looking for a piece of marble trying to express what my eyes have seen. First of all, I have asked the Lord for the grace to continue on with His Word. Not as somebody that knows it all, but as a messenger with a letter going through the rain, the thunder, lightning, the cold weather and the winds, bringing the good news, Words of salvation. These are Words of encouragement that bring power and that are backed up by Heaven Itself. These Words are able to change and transform the cruelest heart to the sweetest person on earth.

The sound of the presses is still ringing in my ears. I hear the ripple of the water at the entrance’s fountain. The loving looks of the brothers that work there. They are really beautiful people. I noticed their dedication, tidiness, and order in all the working areas.

The Chapel was something very special for me. That small place where one can go to have a special moment of intimacy with God in the midst of all the work and daily activities.

Brother Collins, the brothers at the Branham Tabernacle, the music, the children’s faces, the young people and the adults, everybody in the same Spirit, listening to the Word and worshipping. They all are in my heart, and I don’t want them to leave that place.

Thank you for that new Cub Corner brochure and for putting the picture of my little daughter. I can imagine that you had many pictures to display but you chose her. We rejoiced with this. The brothers in the church were very happy and Emma said that she was famous now! When she saw herself in the brochure her eyes opened wide and felt shy for a moment and then assumed her position and said, “That is me in another language.”

I gave some of the checks to the young people in the Sunday School. I am saving some of them for my trips. They were so happy to receive these checks. Some of them even cried for joy.

My wife was very happy with her checkbook and pen. She is thankful for the way you treated us. Certainly you have filled us with blessings. May the Lord repay you in a hundredfold. I am sure that He has already done it.
