Kunguana Fernando Kamalandua was born in Tada, Uige, Angola. He studied Social Sciences, and graduated as a Social Assistant/Technician. He later studied law and investigation. He worked in a Bank for some time, and then he started his own business and ended by opening two drugstores.
His ambitions had always been to publish this Message by working legally, and in the perfect Will of God. This is the reason why in 1992 he set up a team with the little means he had to translate the Message from English to Portuguese and to French; this also was a great blessing. This work was set up in order to unite their efforts with Brother Joseph Branham and his burden to see this Message go to the people of Africa. He started to write to Brother Joseph in 1991, looking for his cooperation. He has been working for Voice Of God Recordings since 1992.
Since their country was at war, he almost died three times, and he bears the scar from the gun aimed at him. He was stuck to the wall as the others were already dead laying at his feet. This happened in front of his house while his family was watching by the window, not knowing that the next one to be shot was him. But God spared his life. Brother Kamalandua is currently the pastor of a church in Angola.
Short History of Office
The work of Voice Of God in Angola is a miracle, and is a powerful tool to convey this Message; a great evangelization.
In 1992, he rented a large house for all the VGR material and called this house, BIBLIOTECA A VOZ DE DEUS! The house owner was a brother in Christ from Brother Kamalandua's church at that time. They prepared a contract stating the cost of the rent, etc. Money was often lacking, and the rent was not always paid, but the brother showed a lot of clemency towards Brother Kamalandua. Then Brother Kamalandua hired and paid a man to work full time at the office. He continued until Brother Joseph started sending crates to Angola for the first time. And then there was an explosion. Because the war at that time, evangelization was almost impossible, but the library did it. Many people came to the Message through the library, and among them preachers that are now doing a great work for this Word to go forward!
In 2001, things started to change. VGR started to send containers with large amounts of Message material to Angola. The office moved a few times, and today we have a newly-constructed office in Luanda that has a reading room, audio room, a reception area, display area, a huge warehouse where we can store two 40 ft containers, three offices, a kitchen, and a lunch room.
