With so many promises that Father will keep us safe, it's no surprise that believers around the world have testimony after testimony of His protection at work in their lives. Brother Lee Cufa, VGR distributor in Mozambique, can add to that list. Though many on that bus may give credit to the driver, there was another Captain who was called on the scene before the journey began.

I thought it would be a blessing to share with you what the Lord has done for me.

I was recently traveling back to Mozambique via Beitbridge - Mutare road, after accompanying Brother Michael (VGR Nelspruit office) to the Beitbridge border post.

Before the journey, I prayed a short prayer in silence, asking God for traveling mercies since we were traveling at night. I quickly fell asleep when the bus departed for Mutare.

At one in the morning, just 100km after Masvingo City, the driver saw a group of elephants crossing the highway. When he tried to dodge them, the bus swerved out of the road doing 120km per hour (74mph). When I woke up, the driver was busy dodging trees and elephants, until he managed to drive the bus back onto the highway safely.

After the incident everyone praised the driver, saying that he was a professional. But for me, it was far beyond that, it was God Himself, and I knew that my prayer were answered.

I thank God for keeping an eye on me. I traveled back safely to the Chimoio VGR office.
