He Will Not Fail Thee

Abraham's seed! Abraham's seed denies anything that's contrary to it, if it's revealed to you.

61-0317 Abraham's Grace Covenant

The Lord will always answer our prayers, but it is often not in the way we expect it. Our prayer may be, "Lord, I need a miracle. Save my home from the flood!" We rise from our knees and look outside, expecting the clouds to part and the sun to shine through. The Lord may do it that way, but what if He has another miracle in store that might not meet our expectations? Does it make it any less of a miracle?

Think about sewage backing up through your sinks and restrooms into your home. Think of the damage it would cause and how it would make life miserable. This brother and his wife were doing their part by praying and trusting in the promise, but the enemy made sure that their faith would be tested. At the perfect time and in His own way, the Master stepped in to provide the help they needed.

GOD Has His Own Way of Answering Our Prayers, but He will answer.

At the end of April, we had consecutive days of rain throughout our city until many locations were flooded, including our home. Floods outside the house caused the bathrooms to overflow in a terrible way.

During the nights I would wake up, praying with my wife, asking the Lord to let the water go away. It was during my prayer time that I caught the faith and believed the floods would leave my home. I was so happy, and thanked the Lord right there for hearing my prayer.

I woke up around 3AM, went to our restroom, and there I found that the water was coming in. Then the thought came to me saying, “Did your God really answer your prayer?” I brushed this thought aside and recalled in my mind all the things the Lord has done for me and how good He is to me. I said, “Yes, He did!”

I went outside the house, where it was still raining and the flood was close to the front door of our home. Just two more inches and it would enter our living room. Then the thought came again, like a voice speaking, “Are sure about your prayers?” I said, “YES.”

I knew it was a devil who was whispering to me.

Around 6am, we went to the neighbor’s house to ask if we could borrow his cell phone to hire a person to come pump the water away from our house. The neighbor himself had one of the pump machines, and he showed me the other neighbor had the long water pipe to use in pushing the water away safely.

Then the neighbor himself came to our house as if he was hired. He connected the machine, and the water pipe directed to main drainage outside the main gate. The flood drained away as I asked in my prayer. With all of this, the neighbor did not ask us for anything and he didn’t charge us anything. I knew it was God answering my prayers right on time.
