There has never been a time that the enemy was so strong against God’s people than today. One of his first targets is our free time. At the youngest of ages, he introduces us to video games, YouTube, social media, and an almost infinite source of other distractions. However, Isaiah said, “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” And there is a group of young people around the world who are raising up a standard against the devil! That’s our children!

This is a testimony from a Sunday school teacher who is proud of her class and the choices they are making in their lives, even at such tender young ages.

Dear VGR,

I just wanted to share a little testimony with you all. I teach the 5 to 9 year-old children Sunday school at our church. I have been trying to get the children all doing their tape quizzes each month. When I asked if they had completed them for the current month, one child promptly stood up and said, “Yes, we finished it together.”

I was a bit confused at the “finished it together” part, so I asked, “You finished it together?” The child then explained, “Yes, we finished it together on the school bus, on the way home from school.”

I smiled and thought of a little group of kids doing their tape quiz together, on the way home from school, on a public school bus, amidst worldly kids and a worldly bus driver, letting their “light so shine before men.” (Matt 5:16)

I was so pleased and proud of them!
