Many times in my own life I have had the pleasure of seeing the power of this Sword. It shuts up the enemy every time. It is very encouraging to know that The Word of God is the Truth, against which no lie can ever stand.
Just as the lion roars and the jungle goes quiet, so too does the Word of God make the worldly voices become silent. I'd have never known this had not it been for that Kentucky-accented voice on the tapes saying, "Say what the tapes say. Say what the visions say." The tapes, the visions and the scriptures are one and the same, The Word of God to me.
As a little testimony, my natural brother one time was having difficulty explaining and answering questions that he felt he was getting bombarded with. He asked me what he should do. Knowing that the Scripture says, "do not worry about what you are to say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say." I told him if he didn't know what to say then say nothing.
The next day my brother said that the man he was having difficulty with came to him with his Bible and said, "I just want to show you in the Bible what I was talking about." So he handed his Bible to my brother and gave him a Scripture to turn to. After doing so he told my brother to read the passage aloud, and this is what he read:
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Obviously the man had mixed up his scriptures, but as the prophet teaches us, there are no coincidences. If God is so willing to give the revelation of Himself to babes, surely He can protect them too, and He does. Amen!
