God’s Hand Over Us

How many times can we point to a spot in our life where we see His merciful hand protecting us? Even those times where we might not have recognized it, we know the Lord was still there guiding our ship through the storm.

This family recognized the Lord’s protecting hand from what could have been a fatal accident. A light in the middle of the road, from a picture that is familiar to us all, was the little nudge of faith to know that God’s hand was over them.

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I would like to share this testimony about the love of our Lord Jesus Christ towards my family and myself.

On Saturday, December 12th, my brother’s family, my mother, and I were all traveling to a little town. We were heading to a wedding, and then we would go to hear the last sermon of our Brother Branham, Communion. It was a little late and it was raining, so the road was so wet.

We were all talking, but suddenly I looked forward and realized that the car had left the road. I remember I tried to talk to my brother, and he tried to spin the steering wheel, but it was too late.

Then we heard screams. It was dark and we could hear the sound of the glass breaking. We just knew we had an accident and we overturned. Mother said, “Are you all okay?” I said, “Glory to God!” My sister-in-law realized that my brother didn’t say anything and we began to scream, thinking something happened to him, but he was ok and eventually responded back.

I was searching for my cell to use the light on it, and to know where we were. I looked to my left, and I saw my cell phone in the road. The picture of the Pillar of Fire is the wallpaper on my cell, and I could see that picture on the road. My sister-in-law found her cell and she used its lantern. My mother was hanging from the seat, because she was using the seat belt. My sister-in-law got out of the car, then my brother, my two nephews, mother, and then me.

I told my sister-in-law to take my cell from the road and to give it to me, I don’t know how it was not broken. Someone was calling and I could see the pillar of fire (I think this is not a coincidence). I called a brother that was asking how our trip was and then my father called. He wasn’t with us in the car, and mother didn’t want him to know what happened, she didn’t want to worry him. Then he told us that he knew what happened, and he called to ensure we were okay.

When we all were out of the car, and we realized that there was a security financial transport behind us calling for help. A few minutes after, an ambulance, police, and a crane arrived. We all escaped unharmed and we just had scratches. The police told us that if the accident would have happened a few meters forward, we would had fallen off the cliff there.

I remembered the testimony that you recently posted in the website about a similar situation. Everyone was surprised while seeing the car and then seeing that we all were alive. I just could see God’s hand over us.

Sometimes I close my eyes and I remember the moment we overturned in the car. It is not a nice scene, but the promises of the Bible are in my heart and I know that EVERYTHING WORKS FOR GOOD. I’m happy with the Lord for what happened. He gave us a new opportunity, and I know that neither my family nor I will be the same we used to be. It’s amazing how life can leave you while opening and closing the eyes. The devil wanted to take my blessing of hearing the last jubilee sermon, but the Lord took care of us.

Glory to His Name.
