Whether you cry with them, smile with them, or rejoice with them, very few things bless us as much as these heartfelt pleas from the confinement of a jail cell. Here are a few excerpts from letters sent into the Prison Ministry.
A funny thing happened to me. My dad’s a minister, so you know how I was raised. Well, family kind of wrote me off as an embarrassment to what they stand for, you understand. I saw a book about the Church Ages and read it. The only thing I could say is, WOW! Never heard anything like this, all these names and dates just floored me, never anything like this. Well, I was talking on the phone to mother and asked if she ever heard about Columba, she said she would ask dad. Well, next time I talked to dad, and we talked Bible. He said he is so happy to hear his son is finally reading the Bible. He asked who is the teacher, I told him, Brother Branham. Silence, then, son we will not speak of this again, that was the end of the call. Well, I am sorry for that but I know the Truth, and I know Brother Branham is of God! These words are like no preacher ever spoke, and I shall never be persuaded otherwise.

May God grant you glory in heaven! I just wanted to say praise the Lord and thank you for standing by the words of Brother Branham. This Message will go around the world. I gave my life to our Lord Jesus Christ, my God, in 2007. In 2017, I met Jesus Christ when I read, "Christ is Revealed in His Own Word," and Brother Branham lifted me from a thought to a Living God! Praise His Name! God grant you the strength and continue this work until He comes.

I just read, rather scanned, the Seventy Weeks of Daniel for the first time. I say scan because I cannot guess how many times you would have to go through this book before you can say you read it. To me read means to understand what you have read. I can say that this book is not a worldly book, but rather a book inspired by God Himself. Which to me shows the trust and faith He has in Brother Branham. Trust, no less that what was in Paul, Matthew and the rest of the original writers. I cannot wait to read more of Brother Branham.

First, I go for parole hearing next month, and I ask for your prayers that God’s will be done. I use to pray to be released, but after reading Brother Branham, I rather have God’s will! Second, I appreciate everything you sent and ask for more, please. I am also asking for another Bible as I gave 9 of them away. There was a 53-year-old inmate that never saw a Bible, so I read some to him. We both ended up crying, him because he never heard John 3:16, and me because he never heard any of it. I told him all about you, but he was getting out in two weeks, and there was not the time for him to get his own, so I gave him mine. That is why I am asking.

I asked the Chaplain for a Bible. He said there are none. I said I see a few inmates in Chapel with Bibles. He gave me your address with a warning that the books you send are at another level than what he can teach. Now, I am interested. Please send what you have.

God bless you all. This will be my last order, as I will be getting out next month. I look back over the years, and Brother Branham has always been right with me; I hear his words in my head- Beautiful. I thank you for your devotion to the ministry you’ve dedicated yourself to and pray that someday I too can play some part to reach out to the ones that remain behind the walls. The Lord watches everything. The other day I was feeling down as having no one to fellowship with. I was cleaning tables at lunch, cleaned one and someone just flops down at it, there are plenty of tables around no one was using. I went over with my bucket and rags, explaining, "I just cleaned this table." Well, he looked at me; I decide he could sit just anywhere he wanted to. He said, "I appreciate a clean table, sir." So, I just smiled and went to turn to leave. He said, "What would you think of someone who claimed they heard a voice from a tree?" I knew why he was there! I said, "What do you mean?" He said, "Would you believe him?" I said, "I do with all my heart." With tears in our eyes, we shook hands, and departed with, "God bless you." He said, "You better be get on with your work." It was a new day for me friends.

I was evil for 26 years, and thank the Lord I was caught. I received ten years minimum. After two years, I started looking at things differently. I started reading Christian books and studies, and I really got confused when I read the Bible because it was different from all the books and preachers. Finally, I just chucked it all away. A while passed, and one inmate asked why I do not go to study anymore. I said, "I do not remember you being there, but it is not much different from being on the outside, fussing and arguing, there is no Truth." He said, "I do not go, but I keep an eye open." "What if I could show you Truth?" I kind of laughed and said, "You are on." Well, you can imagine what happened. He gave me the Church Age book, and a book called Mystery, and your address. This is the Truth, that pearl of great price, I just love it. The problem is now, I don’t fit in anywhere.

Going to sound odd but as a young man, before the drugs, I remember someone standing up in our little church saying he had dreamed a dream. All he could remember was a house with a wagon wheel by a tree, and we are to listen to this man as he has the truth. I can’t tell you how long ago that was, but it stayed with me. Well, the drugs did me in, after time they left me out and was not long the drugs did me in again. I found a book here about a "Prophet Visit South Africa." I read it and all the others here, I also found out that Reverend Branham is from just north of here. He does remind me of that old church from years ago. I am hoping he had a wagon wheel.

I have been receiving the Message books for two years, and it took me about my second book to understand that these books are the Words of God. It is like a living Bible, and then you become so close to that Word that it is all you think about. I love it and tell all I can about the Mystery of God. I was reading God Revealed in His Word, when all of a sudden, I thought someone threw a match and it landed on the page I was reading. I jumped, and another inmate asked, "What in the world was that, looked like a light jumped out of your book." We looked all over but nothing. There was one thing that did happen; two inmates asked to read the book as soon as I am finished. Sometimes it takes a miracle to move people.

I am thankful to God for learning about the servant of God, William Branham, as he has reaffirmed my belief in the Lord. God has brought us much spiritual food by way of his messages, and I am thankful to your church for making these books available to us.

The truth is, without the Spoken Word of Brother Branham, I wouldn't probably be here. This prison, they just fight all the time, guards do nothing as you really can’t stop it. Just goes on until someone is seriously hurt and then moved out. See, you have been sending me books for years, and the Word of God has changed my whole character, I have given my heart, my all to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that one of the gifts from submission is wisdom, action. They called me in and said I was to transfer to this prison and try to stay out of trouble, see my time is short here. So, transferred, and I was in the yard reading the Only Place of Worship, when all of a sudden I felt this urge to go back inside, which I did right away, went inside, sat at a table and continued reading. About five minutes the call went out to get to your room, headcount. While walking back, I saw inmates that were beaten and bloody, I asked my cellmate, who had a black eye, he said not long after I left a big fight broke out. Brothers that has not happen to me once but many times since I have been here. I thank the Lord for protecting my books and me. Just a few months more.

I pray for you people. I read the book on the Godhead. I showed it to the Chaplain, and he showed me that in the Bible, it is a trinity; right there you can read it. I do love the books and have requested some more because there is nothing like them. The chaplain did say Rev. Branham is a man of God, so the books are a blessing, just that one error. Thank you.

I’m an over forty, druggy. I've have been in and out of jail all my life, and now I'm looking at 20 to 40 years. You sit in here, look back, and wonder what could have been different. To tell you the truth I really do not know. Many have led better lives than I did and still end up in here. I know my life had to change, but there is no hope out there. I was looking for a book to read and found one by Gordon Lindsay about a man sent from God. I found it interesting. After reading it three times, I knew that God sent the book to me and I wanted more. I asked everyone, no help. Then I found another book in the library called Thirst. It just gets better and better, and this one had your address in it. Please send me information.

The Message of William Branham has a greater impact than you can imagine. Here we have a lot of religion. Every night there is someone holding a service. While all this is going on, off in a corner is a small group that gathers around the material you send, and the group gets bigger all the time. People go to the services and come out so disillusioned, never getting anywhere. I know, I was one. Then one day a brother gave me a book and like Brother Branham says, “From that time.” Someone turned on a light, and the blinders fell off. I ran around and found the group. We sit together and read the books to each other. I will tell you; sometimes, it feels like we are floating, it is so strong. People come and go, if they come back, that is it. Once you hear the prophet's words, you can’t walk away. We thank you, and God bless all that made this possible.

I have collected a few stamps, and I feel so blessed for the privilege of contributing to the Ministry of Jesus Christ, through the Voice of God. Brother what an honor for me. I first heard of Jesus Christ and His salvation two years ago. Ever since I have been reading everything I could get my hands on that had to do with God. I was talking to a fellow here and said, "I think I read everything in this prison about God." He said, "Well, have you learned anything?" I said, "A lot, but none of it makes any sense." I spoke to the chaplain, but I am still confused. He said, "Well, seems like you been through everything, now for the Truth." I wondered if there was such a thing. He gave me a book called Serpent Seed, and the first time in my life I cried, not at the words but at the plain Truth of what he said. I’m 24 years old now, and I was arrested at 15; I basically grew up in prison. Like I said, two years ago I saw my first Bible and learned about Jesus Christ, and now I’ve been introduced to His prophet. I might never leave this place, but I have made my commitment, Jesus Christ is my savior, and I will meet you on the other side. Please send the Seals and others.
