Persistent

Whether we are reading the Bible or hearing the prophet, those same words that were preached 2,000 years ago or 60 years ago were predestined for us to hear today. God's Word is not dead. It's alive!

Are you in need of healing? This sister has some encouraging words to stay persistent to the promises of God.

Last year, around the end of January, I started feeling discomfort in my right side. I tried to pass it off as a strained muscle, or something from a virus but it kept continuing to hurt. It got to the point that some days it was hard for me to do anything. I would just have to lie on the couch.

I went up and got prayed for at my church, and afterwards I kept believing and claiming my healing, although the pain kept persisting. I didn't want to go to the doctor, I just wanted to believe God for my healing, as He has healed me so many times before.

This pain kept persisting until, one night in October, my husband and I were going to bed, and we decided to put the Message on all night in our bedroom. I just pushed play on my iPod, laid down, and went to sleep.

At some point during the night, something woke me right out of sleep and INSTANTLY I heard Brother Branham saying on the sermon,

"Do you believe me, lady? [The mother says, "Amen."—Ed.] You do? Your trouble is a hurting in your side. That's right. It's your right side that hurts. Is that right? Raise up your hand, if that's right. It ain't going to bother you no more.

I was in shock. I knew it had to be the Lord to wake me up just in time to hear Brother Branham say that. It was such a wonderful confirmation to me that I was healed! I just want to praise my Lord Jesus Christ. He has completely healed me, and my side has not bothered me since!

If you have been waiting on a healing from the Lord for a while, don't give up! I waited 10 months, but He kept His Word as He always does!

I'm so thankful He is Jesus Christ the Same Yesterday, Today, and Forever! We serve a living God!
