And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

Mark 13:10

The Lord Jesus prophesied that His Gospel would be published among all nations. Whether we are a well-spoken missionary or not, we all desire to have a hand in leading people to the Gospel that has put such joy into our hearts. Themessage.com was built to give us all another tool in our missionary toolbox.

It started about four years ago, when Brother Joseph had it upon his heart to redesign our tracts. While the old tracts have served us well and introduced countless people to the Word, the public today simply won’t read a small, folded piece of paper packed with tiny words. We needed something that would catch the eye and could be read at a glance. It had to have big, readable words with a thought-provoking question that would stay in the mind of the reader. It also had to be inexpensive to print, so the missionary could give one to anyone that asks. Somehow, we also had to provide a deeper explanation where the recipients could go if interested.

Themessage.com was the perfect addition. It is on almost every VGR publication, as well as T-shirts, window stickers, and even billboards around the world. For those who don’t have internet access, tract #2, “The Mystery Of God” has the same wording as the website inside an eye-catching booklet. And if they want more, tract #3, “The Messenger” tells them where these amazing revelations come from.

So, what happens when someone spots a billboard or takes a tract and wants to know more? If they don’t come back to you, they usually email or call our office for more information. The next step is very important. Not only do we send them Message material, but it is also vital that we give them a place to fellowship, dig deeper into the Word, and be baptized properly. So, we send them a list of all the churches we know of in their area. We don’t point them a certain church; we simply give them a list of Message-believing churches and encourage them to contact the pastors (or other contact given by the church) for further information.

Another equally important function of themessage.com is the downloadable sermons page. Imagine going to a website in a foreign language and trying to find a specific subject. It’s nearly impossible. We now have themessage.com in 26 different languages, which gives the non-English believer their own website with every downloadable sermon that is translated into their own language. Many of the overseas believers who visit the website are using this function.

The fruits of themessage.com and the new tracts have far exceeded our expectations. From prisoners in an Arizona penitentiary, to a young lady surfing religious websites in Malawi, to a long-haired Alaskan hippy who was given a tract during one of his visits to the nearest town; God’s sheep are coming in one by one. Here are a few interesting statistics from the past six months on themessage.com.

Almost all of the visits to themessage.com are a result of believers around the world taking the initiative to get out and witness. They are handing out tracts, putting up billboards, and witnessing everywhere they have the opportunity.

Every country on earth with public internet access has visited the website in the past 6 months. That includes Palestine, Yemen, Laos, and even Syria.

About 900 people visit the website every day. More than 500 of those have never been to themessage.com
