Death Unto Life

And they find that there is a ray of light. When this man sincerely, not knowing they were doing it, put his hands upon a man and prayed an earnest prayer, they was putting the x-ray down, and found out a light coming from his hand. God knew what He talked about when He said, "Lay hands on the sick and they shall recover."

61-0117 The Messiah

It’s our approach to every promise that makes it come to pass. This sister forsook her own timing and trusted in the Lord’s Will, and that is when He stepped on the scene.

I was in the early part of my pregnancy when I began experiencing symptoms of a miscarriage. An ultrasound confirmed this. The heartbeat couldn't be found. The doctors wanted to do a D&C (to clean out my womb of the dead fetus). With my husband in the room, I refused and told her (the on-call doctor), that I was going to have that baby.

I was told to go home and rest, only doing what was necessary to care for my other baby. Brother Branham preached to do as the doctors instructed, and I did so, but spent much time reading A Prophet Visits South Africa and the testimonies in the book. I had multiple doctors appointments, each one stating the heartbeat couldn't be found and the baby was dead. Each night, before I had an appointment, I went into the spare bedroom (which would be the baby's after he was born) and got on my knees to pray. I would pray that the next day's visit would be the one where a heartbeat was found. We told our friends and family that I was going to have the baby. This went on for a matter of weeks.

One day, I believe it was a Sunday, my husband and I were sitting in the living room listening to a message, and Bro. Branham said to lay hands on one another and pray. My husband came over to where I was sitting, placed his hands on my shoulder, and prayed. The next time I went into the room to pray before an appointment, instead of being impatient, I prayed for it (the healing of the baby) to happen in God's timing, as the longer it went on, the greater miracle and glory for God. The next day a heartbeat was found, much to the amazement of my doctor. Micah Elijah was born healthy. Today he is a 12-year-old that loves God and loves the Message...

My husband and I look forward to seeing what God has in store for our son who was raised from the dead in the womb! Recently God gave me another revelation about his birth: the doctors induced labor because he was so small. My husband had to go buy a couple of premie outfits for him as the newborn size was too big. As I was going through the pregnancy with our 4th child and learning more about fetal development, God showed me that Micah was so small because he had quit growing during the time that he was dead in the womb. That is why he measured so small and was born so tiny.

God Bless You!
