He Touched Me

Is Jesus Christ the same today? Does God still heal his people through the Spoken Word? There is one young sister in the Philippines who can testify “YES” to both those questions.

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Truly, our God is so good, and He answers prayer, my brethren in Christ!

I would like to share how God works in my life, and how God healed me. When I was in 5th grade, I didn't eat too much, and sometimes I don't want to eat at all.

I was always ignoring the pain that I felt. Then, grades 6th and 7th came. I began skipping my meals every day, until I felt something bad in my stomach. My stomach felt like it had a hole inside of it, and the pain was all over my stomach and getting worst. My stomach would barely accept any food. At this point, my family said that it may be a peptic ulcer.

At first I was scared when I heard that, and I checked the symptoms of it, but I could only find one symptom that agreed to my situation. Easter services came, and on one of the tapes, the Lord Jesus healed a sister that had a stomach trouble and a peptic ulcer. That time I felt something different. I felt that someone touched me, and from then, I claimed that I am healed. But, still every day my condition was getting worse.

When the school days began in the 8th grade, I felt that my stomach was getting worst this time. I was just praying when I felt it, sometimes I even forgot to mention my stomach ache in prayer, but I know God knew all about it.

Last night, me and my sister had a conversation while fixing the clothes. Then I opened up the topic that my stomach was getting worst. She just smiled to me and gave a little piece of advice. After our prayer meeting in our church, I checked the Branham Tabernacle if there was a service tomorrow. Then I saw that there was no service in the church , and Brother Joseph had a letter. So I read it.

This morning our family will start to hear the message that Brother Joseph told us to listen, 64-0126 “What Shall We Do With This Jesus Called Christ?” While listening, deep inside my heart I was very happy to feast at our Lord's table again. When the message was near in the end, Brother Branham began to discern the people and tell their sickness or troubles. Then I prayed in my heart, "Lord, may Brother Branham mention my surname and my stomach." Then, Brother Branham said this,

Lady, you’re very sick. You’re nervous, got a stomach trouble, almost in a nervous breakdown. Do you believe that God will heal you? Mary, believe with all your heart, and Jesus Christ will give you your desire.

As Brother Branham says, "MARY" I cry and cry, and I said in my heart, “MARY, it’s me, it’s my name!” Then I felt my stomach covered by a new flesh, blood, and recover. I was really blessed and very thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ, who knows our every need. Truly, He knows how and when to work. I feel my stomach is new!

Praise the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST!

Your sister in Christ,

Sister Maria Kristenzel Miciano
