Sunday evening my wife was bending over to set down our four-month-old little girl Rebekah when a bee landed on her arm, which startled her.
Baby Rebekah was facing downward on her arm at the time, and my wife's reflex was to let go and get away from the bee. This caused the baby to land on the side of her head on the hard laminate wood floor. Right away she let out a cry that was not normal and just cringed into a tight little ball. My wife picked her up immediately and tried to comfort her, and she quickly stopped crying and started to fall asleep.
At this point I had come to her aid, and tried to shine a light in her eyes to see if they were dilating. When we couldn't keep her eyes open for more than several seconds without her falling asleep, I told my wife to get in the car, we were heading to the ER.
My wife drove, and I held Rebekah in my lap and tried to keep her awake and her eyes open, but she was starting not to respond. We arrived at the ER in Bisbee, AZ around 7:30 Sunday night, and she now had a good size goose egg that was discolored just above her right temple, and I couldn't get any response from her at all.
They performed a very short evaluation and took her in for an immediate CT Scan. I assumed she may have had a slight concussion or something of the sorts but nothing serious. Once the results from the scan came back they found that she had bleeding on the brain and called for an immediate air lift to UMC Pediatric ICU in Tucson, about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Bisbee ER.
At this point I started just crying out to God asking for her healing. I've never felt so desperate and helpless in my life! I contacted a special friend who had direct access to Brother Joseph Branham and Brother Billy Paul Branham and asked for prayer. They air lifted Rebekah and my wife out at approximately 10:20PM and I started the drive up to Tucson, due to the small size of the helicopter. I felt like my heart was being torn out of my chest as I watched the helicopter leave. I immediately sent out prayer requests and started the drive up.
My special friend texted that Bro Billy Paul Branham was praying and that Bro Joseph Branham had went to prayer for her at 10:40PM, Arizona time. In the meantime the helicopter arrived at UMC Pediatric ICU at approximately 11:10PM, and they started to evaluate the situation. At this point baby Rebekah had awoken and was smiling at the nurse, Praise God! I arrived at approximately 1:30AM. I walked into the room and found my baby girl sleeping and the goose egg was completely gone!
No discoloration of any kind and she looked perfectly normal. They waited until approximately 2:30AM to do a MRI and see what her current condition was. They waited due to the amount of radiation she had received during the CT scan in Bisbee. I alone accompanied her and sat outside the room where they were performing the MRI and just cried out to God once again for her healing! Sitting there alone I heard a voice come to me twice and say, "I am a very present help in a time of trouble." This seemed to just calm my anxiety and I knew everything would be fine! I carried her back to her room and waited for the neuro surgeon to come with the results.
We received the results of the MRI around 4:30AM, and they found that all of the bleeding had stopped and had dissipated, and there was just a hair line of blood to still be dissolved by the body. This was an absolute miracle! After monitoring her for several hours, they told us there was no reason for any further monitoring and released us to take her home perfectly normal and well around noon on Monday.
I have to give God praise for his Mercy and Grace to our little Rebekah!
