SPAIN TRIP REPORT

Brother Gerald Buitenkamp, VGR Office Manager in Holland, recently visited a few churches in Spain, where he was able to distribute material and testify of VGR’s work in other parts of the world. The following is his report of his trip to Spain.

We had a great attendance. The first night over a 100 believers attended the service. I was surprised to see people in every church we visited from Colombia, Paraguay, Chili, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, and Spain. I had asked Brother Lorenzo if it would be alright to show the Mexico DVD and also share a portion of a tape service of Brother Branham from a tape that they had never heard before (60-0210) How The Revelation Came To Me, San Juan Puerto Rico. This is a real-life recording with the Spanish translator. Upon my arrival, the pastor had told me that there are several churches in the area that he knows about. I told the pastor that VGR is here for everyone, and we would be happy to distribute material to whomever wants it. Therefore we took plenty of Spanish-translated messages with us to provide each church with the materials that they have requested, plus extra books for their church libraries.

When we played a portion of the tape of Brother Branham, he just happened to mention in the very beginning of the first paragraph:

"It is for the-the uniting together, the believers, bring the fellowship of Christians together. I believe that all Christian churches have saints of God in them. I do not believe we should be divided. Neither do I believe it was Christ's plans for us to be divided. We are to be one. Jesus said, "This will all men know you're My disciples, when you have love one for the other."

Second Paragraph Brother Branham said:

"For together we stand, but divided we'll fall. As the song was being sang when I came in, "Onward Cristian Soldiers, we are not divided, all one body are we."

And that’s the way we should stand.

The tape itself was a very clear Spanish translator, and it was a blessing for the people to hear Brother Branham speak with an original translator.

We also played the Mexico CTV tour which everybody really enjoyed. There was a true spirit of unity amongst the believers that evening. We left plenty of Spanish materials for their church library.

Saturday evening, we were invited to the church of Brother Antonio Lopez who is the pastor of the church in Lorca which is approx. 120km south of Elche. Brother Antonio warmly welcomed us in his congregation, and also gave me time to share testimonies in his church. There were approx. 100 people that were in the congregation that evening.

We also met a group of believers that had come all the way from Barcelona, which is over 500km to the North. We were happy to provide the local assembly with the Spanish materials for their church library. Later that night after service, we distributed many of the materials from where we were parked on the street and handed them out to all the people that had come from so far away. It was well past midnight until we were finished handing out materials on the street.

As in every stop, we took a variety of Spanish translations: All available printed books for each church which is almost a 100 titles. These include: Seven Seals, Seven Church Ages, COD, Brother Branham, etc.; MP3; DVD(Prophet’s Home Town) 20th Century Prophet / Deep Calleth To The Deep) and various Spanish tracts for witnessing etc.

It was a great time for us to be able to provide them with this precious Message.

In this very church we also met a sister who was originally from Ecuador and told us about her baby that was raised from the dead and is a miracle to be alive today. We certainly had a wonderful time to be with them and the believers thanked us for all the material that they had received from the VGR. As at all other places, a big thank you and they sent special greetings to Brother Branham's family in Jeffersonville.

Sunday March 23

We were again warmly welcomed by Brother Rodrigo Pineda who pastors a church in Crevillente. We also had met this pastor before during our CTV visit to Spain a few years ago. It was nice to see some of the believers again at this time. Brother Rodrigo and the bigger part of the congregation are originally from Colombia. It was nice to play a portion of the tape from Brother Branham again and also show the USA and Mexico CTV tour to the entire congregation. Approx. 100 people came to the meeting. Again we provided them with a variety of all available Spanish translations as well as MP3 sets with players, DVDs, etc.
