Burma, officially known as the Union of Myanmar, is the largest country by landmass in Southeast Asia. The country is governed by a military dictatorship that is suspicious of outside influences. Even after a devastating cyclone a few months ago, the government refused for a time to allow outside aid from other countries to help their starving population.

The reclusive nature of the government also makes it difficult for us to get Message material into that country. Generally, material is carried in by missionary brothers from neighboring countries who have a burden for their fellow believers.

A VGR distributor recently traveled into Burma to distribute newly-translated books and tapes in the Burmese language. The believers were overjoyed to receive the Message in their native tongue. The following is the report from our distributor.

We are so glad to share this miraculous testimony of our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone does great wonders. His mercy endures forever.

No sooner than we received the consignment, we put our burden upon the Lord with prayer and remembered our prophet’s prayer, “Father God, into Your hands I--I commend this message. Though it's been chopped up, some way I pray that the Holy Spirit will go with it on these tapes and across the nations. And if I shall be taken from the earth, may this live, Lord. It's Your Word.” Therefore we arranged to send these Burmese language tape boxes to deliver to the believers who are in Burma without the worry of postal problems and damages.

No wonder we came to know that our representative was led by the Spirit of God, who keeps His Word. As our prophet said, “It's on tapes; It'll go worldwide on the tapes where people in their houses. Them tapes will fall right into the hands of the predestinated of God.” They visited 34 Message believing churches in towns and villages around Burma, with many physical, political and spiritual hindrances, and also established a tape library in every church and other places. By this, the believers were overwhelmed with joy unspeakable and sent their gratitude to us through the distributor. They could not find any words to express their feelings for this first time they are hearing our God’s Voice in their own language and the fulfillment of the prophecy of Malachi 4, “And I know you realize that this tape is being made, will play in every nation under the heavens, about, around the world. And some of you peoples who's here, present; and some of you out where the tapes will be played in the other nations by an interpreter...”

Moreover he was directed to meet other members of denominations and introduce them to God’s prophet’s Message of His provided way of escape, and also baptize ten persons in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ along with communion.

We therefore thank our Lord God almighty who opened the door graciously and gloriously to them as our prophet’s word, “I will not let you perish with them who doesn’t believe the message.”
