April 6, 1909

A robin stood outside the window of the tiny one-room cabin and sang to the top of his lungs. Inside, the young father proudly put his hands into his brand-new pair of overalls and said, “We will call his name William.”

What happened that day in the hills of Kentucky? God remembered the promise that He made over two thousand years earlier: “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet...”

Like the prophets before him, his birth was humble and went unnoticed. The world was busy preparing for the next 100 years that would change human life more than all of the previous thousands of years of history combined. The automobile, television, airplane, atomic bomb, computer, and millions of other inventions would transform a world that looked little different than it did when Moses led the Hebrews out of Egypt. Over the next century, man was changing the face of his planet, and God was changing the hearts of His children.

It was on this day in 1909 that God gave us a man who brought the Bible to life. From the time he was a young child, Brother Branham surrendered his life to the service of the Lord Jesus Christ. His total submission resulted in a ministry that was vindicated by more miracles than are recorded in the entire Bible. Yet, he gave us so much more than miracles.

Not since the Lord Jesus Christ Himself walked the earth has a man affected the world in such a profound way. Great men in history are measured by the cities they have built, the wars they have won, or the lives they have saved, but Brother Branham's achievements are without measure. He showed that the Bible is not a book of history but It is a living Word of God, and the Message that he brought resulted in the salvation of millions of souls. And within those millions of souls that found Eternal Life through Brother Branham’s Ministry, there is a Bride of Christ that is today making Herself ready for the coming of the Lord. How could we pay a worthy tribute of his 100th birthday on this website? We can’t. Only the lives of the Bride of Christ can pay tribute to his birth, his life, and his Message.

On this 100th birthday, maybe the Lord would let His prophet look over the banister of Heaven. Brother Branham would see a Bride of Christ from every nation holding to every precious word that he said. These are the stars in his crown. This is the tribute to his Ministry. We are the birthday present he longed to receive.

But I feel to you like Paul said back there about his congregation once, "You're the stars in my crown." When I cross over the land over on the other side yonder and meet you in that glorified condition, I want you to stand there to shine like the stars in the crown. See? And I--I want you to be there; I want to be there. And I remember in my vision when I seen the Presence of the Lord, or His people in that glorious land yonder, I looked around and I told them... And they told me He would judge me first by the Gospel that I preach. I said, "Just exactly the way Paul preached it." And them millions of people screamed out, "We're resting on that." See? Now, I want it to be so. And we are going to meet there someday.
