Thursday and Friday at the Durban office we continued to work diligently, fine combing office procedure and improvements so that the Voice of God Durban office is able to continue to be a lighthouse to the precious believers in the Zulu townships, and also the refugees that need material in Xhosa and Afrikaans. .
Thursday afternoon, Brother Louis Govindraj, a local pastor took us out to lunch. He invited us to speak at his church that night and, although at the time it seemed like our schedules would not permit us to be there, the Lord opened the door and we made arrangements for the service that night.
After Brother Nathan and I shared some words and testimonies, Brother Louis invited Brother Ronnie Pillay to come up and share what was on his heart. Brother Ronnie touched our hearts with his testimony of recently being healed from a blood sugar problem where he spent several weeks in bed, was crawling to get around, and in the midst of all of his pain, was able to listen to 75 messages back to back. It was pretty humbling to see what the Lord did, as he stood before us healthy and readily willing to share what the Lord did in his life.
After the service we were asked to go to Brother Louis Govindraj’s house to have dinner with him and his family. We shared some more testimonies and stories with him and his family over a wonderfully cooked meal before making it back for a very late night back to the hotel.
Friday morning was crunch time, as we took our final pictures, made some final measurements for future renovations, and introduced Brother Ronnie to some programs on his computer that will make sending media and communicating to VGR in Jeffersonville much easier. We are looking forward to many fruitful videos testimonies, pictures of the hundreds of baptisms that Brother Ronnie does, and also reports of the precious distribution of material into the Zulu townships.
We were happy to have dinner with Brother Ronnie’s family tonight, and he is truly blessed with a wonderful wife and children. It’s a little after 11:00 now, and we must be up by 4:00 for an early morning flight to Blantyre Malawi, Via Johannesburg South Africa.
God bless you all. Thank you for your prayers, and we will be writing more soon.
RD (Brother Ron)
