CONTINUATION OF PART TWO OF THE NORTHERN MOZAMBIQUE TRIP REPORT OF FEBRUARY 2010
The VGR delegation enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the Quelimane Millenium Hotel, squaring off final arrangements around the breakfast table with the young and trusted Pastor Goncalves Isequeil Nhambane; now established VGR voluntary distributor in the North Eastern Districts of Mozambique. Soon after leaving Quelimane, the VGR party arrived at Nicuadala.
At the home of the late Pastor Commando in Mocuba, the two VGR vehicles and trailer turned left onto an atrocious dirt road which would take them to Milange and the Malawi border. This 120 kilometer piece of road was four years earlier prepared for tarring and could be negotiated in an easy one and half hours. But this time it took the brothers more than four and one half hours to negotiate. Brother Michael Mathonsi, who had never been in these parts of Mozambique, was astounded to traverse such a deteriorated road.
Pastor Vitory Ambrosio of Milange (on behalf of the Pastors in this precinct) met the VGR delegation on the main road leading to the Malawi border post. Quick words were exchanged (as the border was about to close) and Pastor Ambrosio was invited to come through that following morning to the VGR Blantyre Office. Appointments had been made to meet trusted Pastors at the VGR Office, who serve Mozambique in this part of Africa.
A smiling and sprightly Brother Mostapher Saidi, who ably mans the VGR Malawi Office in Blantyre, met the exhausted Mozambique team opposite the Shire Highlands Hotel, and he promptly whisked the brothers off to a private secluded lodge in nearby hills by the name of ‘Alford Hill’ owned by a friend. There the VGR team could rest, shower, eat, have their clothes and vehicles washed, in preparation for the very busy day which lay ahead.
Brother Des and Pastor Rui, after having eaten some delicious local Chambo fish, did some final checking late into the night on their distribution list, in final preparation for their scheduled meetings; as they had planned to sleep over in Blantyre for two nights.
The first meeting scheduled for that day was with Malawi’s “tape-boy” Brother John Katyale. At this meeting, Brother Des was surprised to find out that this extraordinary brother had been holding open air tape meetings over the border into Mozambique, where four new Message groups had been established by only listening to the tapes of our prophet. Another four new groups were in the process of being established. Elders had apparently been appointed at these new Message meeting places, who in turn were tutored to supervise the playing of tapes at each weekly gathering. Astounding as it may seem, hundreds of people gave their hearts to the Lord from listening to the tapes, willingly going to the waters of baptism. Great miracles were taking place during those tape meetings, which thrilled the hearts of the Mozambique VGR distribution team.
The following prophetic words of our prophet came to the remembrance of Brother Des during that meeting with Brother John:
“...Now, they didn't have tape recorders, today like we got here, but they had scribes who was setting there taking it down just as Paul was preaching it. And that's what it is right here. We're getting It by tape recorders, and these tapes go all over the world (See?) to show that It is the Truth. Our religion is not in vain, It's absolutely the resurrected Jesus Christ...”

“...if you're taking it on tapes or anything, then you stay right with that tape teaching. Don't say nothing but what that tape says. Just say just exactly what the tape says (See?), now because some of those things... We're going to understand a whole lot about this now, why it's misunderstood. See? And you be sure to say just what the tape says. Don't say nothing else (See?), 'cause... I don't say that of my own. It's Him that says it. You see? And... So many times confusion, people will raise up and say, "Well, so-and-so said it meant so-and-so." Let's just leave it just the way it is. See, that's the way we want the Bible. Just the way the Bible says it, that's the way we want it, just--just like that. Don't put own--no interpretation to it. After basking in the rejuvenating and miraculous testimonies of Brother John, Brother Des gladly allocated VGR Message material for the newly established and new up coming “tape Message groups” in Mozambique.
The magnificence of the world wide “tape ministry” clearly comes to the fore in the three Messages preached by our Prophet on THE TOKEN dated 63-0901M, 63-1128E and 64-0208. These scenes prophetically described by Brother Branham indicate where the “tape boys” of the time of Joshua, slipped in and gave Rahab the harlot the Message of the hour, just before destruction struck the City of Jericho. Which scene is presently being re-enacted in our day.
This specific allocation of VGR material allocated to the Malawi “Tape Boy” consists of MP3 players, MP3 disc sets in Portuguese, an assortment of Portuguese translated cassettes and a collection of previously printed Message booklets, enough ‘hidden manna’ for many new converts to prepare themselves for the Rapture.
Brother Des in addition allocated Brother John the last of eight new 300 seating Evangelical tents, which would need to be collected at Pastor Rui’s home in Manica, as Brother John’s new gazebo allocated by Jeffersonville is built to shelter his equipment. Brother Des promised to let Brother John have the last megaphone in his Nelspruit store-room, together with a few remaining solar paneled tape recorders, which the “Tape Boy” could effectively dedicate to this exciting outdoor “tape Message outreach” into Mozambique. These items would be transported to Manica very shortly, where Brother John assisted by Brother Saidi, agreed to do the collecting.
After all the allocations had been done, the VGR team paid a visit to the new VGR Blantyre site next to the suburb of Limbe, where a new VGR warehouse and VGR offices will be planned for the Malawi sub-region.
The last evening in Malawi was spent in VGR Brother Saidi’s home, where a special spread of fresh Chambo fish, local dishes, and some soothing cool drinks were put on the dinner table by Sister Saidi. Needless to say, the “missionaries” really had a scrumptious time. The best part of the evening lay ahead however, where “Tape Boy,” Brother John Katyale, once again gave everyone some wonderful insight to astounding testimonies of what our Lord was doing in this part of Africa, around the open air “tape services.”
