It is with great sadness in our hearts we report Brother Desmond Ross, VGR distributor for Guyana, as well as a pastor and missionary, went home to be with the Lord on January 2nd. Our brother’s passing was sudden and unexpected, and we ask your prayers for the Lord to be with his family and bring them comfort and strength as only HE can do at this time. Our brother had labored close to 30 years, traveling down the rivers and visiting the remote villages, preaching and distributing the Message of the Hour to see those last predestinated souls come in. And today, truly he has received his reward.

Here is a portion of a letter we received from a brother in Trinidad who worked alongside Brother Ross and testified of his dedication to the Lord:

“His life, example and influence has affected almost every believer in Guyana, and he made tireless efforts to keep the Message of Mal. 4 before the people, even taking it into regions that very few people on earth would go. It was my honor to accompany him on missionary trips into the North West region of Guyana, to churches he established there, where I gained much respect for his resolve and sacrifice personally to get the Message to the people. Of course, over the years, his working relationship with VGR to receive Message material into the country and its distribution speaks for itself.”

Brother Ross was indeed a tremendous asset in seeing to the Message material received from VGR, working to get it released through Customs, and then organizing and making ready for distribution to the churches and believers. He worked hard to see this done and his love for the Message and the Bride of Guyana was admirable. Until that great meeting in the air, we know God will continue to get His Message to those remote villages and churches Brother Ross visited so many times. Our brother was only 58 years old and died of a heart attack in his home.
