It is with heavy hearts that we announce to the Bride of Christ that God has taken one of His mighty men home. Brother Gordon Tutani, affectionately known as “Brother G,” came into the Presence of our Lord Jesus this morning, joining those great men of God who gave their lives to bring the Gospel to the world.
Brother G had many gifts, and the one that meant so much to so many of us was his way of making us feel like the great person. Speaking of great men, the prophet told us, “They never brag or take honor. They make you feel that you're great. That's great men.” If you’ve ever met Brother G, then you know what Brother Branham was talking about.
Our brother was a pastor, VGR office manager, beloved Still Waters minister, and devoted father. He was a central part of the work of the Lord worldwide, and he will be greatly missed by hundreds of thousands of believers. His wife, Sister Prossy, and his sons, Enoch, Stephen, and Jonah would appreciate your prayers in this difficult time.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
There are many of us who need comforting today while grieving the loss of our dear friend. Our hearts find peace in God’s Word, knowing that we will one day see our dear brother again.
Rest well, thou mighty man of God. We will see you when this work is over.
