The Quarter

It seems like whatever trouble we may be having, there is something in the Bible or Brother Branham's Message that encourages us to keep pressing the battle. We have no problems that He has not already solved.

This sister took a story from Brother Branham's Message about having the money to buy a loaf of bread is as good as having the bread already. She applied it in her own life, and stuck to it. As you will read, the Word gave her the faith that led to her possession.

Greetings to you all in the Name of the Lord Jesus.

Ever since I was young, I would have breakouts on my face. This was very embarrassing for me. I never did outgrow the problem, in fact, it got worse in my forties. I finally decided to see a dermatologist for my condition. Not only did I have breakouts, I was very red all over my face.

The dermatologist said I had two skin conditions. Rosacea and Seborrheic Dermatitis. He prescribed a couple of creams for me to use. The creams seemed to help, but it didn't solve my problem totally. I was still having breakouts.

Back in May of 2017, I was listening to a tape, and Brother Branham was talking about having a quarter is just as good as having a loaf of bread (if the cost of a load of bread is $.25). I needed to have faith to believe for my healing. So, as a reminder, I wrote "healed" with a Sharpie (marker) on a quarter and stuck it in my pocket.

Eventually the word I wrote on the quarter wore off, and I wasn't sure if I had the same quarter anymore. Today my face looks so good. I am so thankful to my Lord for his healing touch!

He is so good to me! I love him with all that's within me!

God bless you all,

Sister Susan

Now, I can be just as happy with the twenty-five cents as I could with the loaf of bread, because I’ve the got the thing that buys the loaf of bread, and as soon as I get to the market, I’ve got a loaf of bread.

And faith is the thing that brings my healing, and no matter how long it takes me to get to that place, I’ve got the faith that’s going to do it, as soon as I get there. You get it?

Now, I can be just as happy with the quarter, as I can with the bread. And when down in your heart, you believe that God has healed you, just as—just as real as you believe you got strength to walk out that door, or just as well as the sight—sense of sight says that shirt’s white, it’s finished. There’s nothing can take it away from you, because it’s gone beyond intellectual; it’s gone to your heart. It’s real faith.

Now, going to get this loaf of bread, I might have to go over brier patches, and down over bridges, and cross streams, and up the hill, but all the time I’m going, I’ll be shouting with all my heart, holding up my twenty-five cents, because I’m on my road for the bread.

And if Christ reveals to me, tonight, that I am healed, I can rejoice just as much as I could jump up-and-down on the floor. No matter whether I’m still crippled, or whether I’m still sick, my head still hurts, or what about it, I’m just as happy, because I’m on my road with the purchase power. That’s faith. Jesus said, “Have faith in God.” Notice how vital.
