Imagine, what if the great warrior Joshua had a tape recording of Moses? As he prayed before battle, wouldn’t it have been a comfort to hear the prophet say, “Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours.” What if Daniel could have relaxed in his study while in Babylon and listened to Jeremiah prophesy, “For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.” And the apostle Paul, what would he have given to hear the Lord Jesus say these few words, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

In six thousand years of history, the Voice of the prophet has never been recorded until these closing hours of time. Now we all can experience the comfort and power of a prophet speaking the Word of God in our own ears.

We received this testimony from a brother in the Philippines, who never takes what he has been given for granted.

Greetings in the lovely Name of our dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I just want to give my testimony, the experience that I had as I listened to the Voice of God, thru His prophet, that we call our precious brother, Brother William Marrion Branham.

There's so many things going on in my life these past weeks, important decisions that I'd made that get me worried, especially if those decisions that I had made were wrong in the sight of our loving Heavenly Father, which I did many times in the past, I failed Him many times. But always on my mind is what Brother Branham said,

God don't want you to be frowning. God wants you to be happy. The human heart was made to be happy. Worry will cause cancer. Temper will cause cancer. Don't never be upset. Just walk in His love. Amen. Knowing that you're walking in Him, and nothing can harm you. There's nothing can harm you. There's neither powers, things present, things future, nothing can separate us from Him. We're in Him. And we never come in by our own will. He, by choice, elected us and brought us in to Him. Amen. So it's His business to take care of what He's took Hisself. "No man can pluck them from My Father's hands, 'cause He's the greatest of all of them." Amen. It's the Father Who takes care of it. Who's got any more power than God? So what kind of a power have you got over you to take care of you? The whole powers that created the universes. Amen. That took the solar system and [Brother Branham makes a blowing sound--Ed.] blew like that and every star went to its place. Sure. And He watches over you. Amen. That's the kind of a Father we have.

56-0405 The Resurrection Of Jesus

It is always in my heart that God wants me to be happy. So before I listened to the Message that I scheduled for me to listen to that day, Sunday night the 19th of August, I prayed to the Lord that I wouldn't worry no more, if He would just speak to me that I have been forgiven of all my failures while I listen to His Voice.

So I started to listen to the Message, 54-0302 The Resurrection of Jairus' Daughter, and I got the answer of my prayer, more than what I expected.

This is the answer for me not to be worry:

Isn't that marvelous? What are we scared about then? We just believe, and then the Master of all it said, "All things work together for good to them that love God." Nothing can harm us. Just as peaceful as little children playing around. Just... We got a heavenly Father Who watches over us. And whatever He sees that we have need of, He just presents it to us.

I used to have to shift for myself. But since I found Him to be my Father, why, He--He does it for me. I found out this in my twenty-one years of experience of preaching the Gospel: any job that's too big for my Lord to attack, what's the use of me trying it? I just let Him have it, so... See? Just commit it to Him. He promised to take care of me. When opposition comes, I just commit it to Him. 'Cause He said He would do it for me. And if He can't do it, I know there's no need of us trying it. So we just live peacefully and go on. He brings it out all right. No need of getting all fretted up and stewing about it. Why, He's just going to make it all right. Amen.

Here's my forgiveness.

Kind heavenly Father, we approach Thee in the Name of Thy beloved Child, Jesus, to thank Thee for the blessings that Thou has given to us, we unworthy people. And Thou has redeemed us altogether by grace. By election of God Thou has called us into this blessed hope that we have tonight in Christ Jesus.

And we thank Thee for it. And now, as we're gathered here tonight in this lovely, big city, we pray that You'll come down into our midst. There's no building on earth worthy for You to step in. There's no people worthy for You to speak to. But Thou has not considered that.

You've come to the poorest, to the low, the ignorant, the outcast, and we thank Thee, for we're so glad that You're a God like that. What could we do if You were haughty and indifferent? But Thou art not--not that kind of a Father. You're sweet and loving, forgiving. And that just makes us love You that much more.

Now Father, You don't beat us as the cruelty of a serpent, but You love us as the love of Father can only love. Forgive us, Lord, we are all guilty of sin and indifference towards Thee. And let Thy Blood atone for us tonight.

And in these next few words, circumcise the lips of the speaker and the hearts of the hearer, that Jesus Christ may be exalted before the audience, for we ask it in His Name. Amen.

Truly there is something about listening to that Voice.

As our Brother Branham said,

“The way about, you can read a book, read a sermon, but you'll never get out of it, 'less you hear the person preach that sermon. The Spirit goes with it.”
