Sierra Leone Prison Ministry

We received this testimony from Brother Musa Macarthy, VGR Librarian and Distributor in Sierra Leone, Africa.

Greetings in the Name of Our Savior Jesus Christ!

By the grace of God, my brother, today I am sending this short video testimony attached to this email about our beloved brother, Prince Kaikai, who received the precious Word of God in Sierra Leone Prison, Correctional Centre, Bo City.

Our precious Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Redeemer and Savior, set the brother free and he was discharged from the prison. To God be the Glory! While in Prison he was very curious for the truth. Today, Bro. Prince is very zealous for the precious Word of God. He now takes the Message books and tracts outside to the streets to talk to people about our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

He says that before now, he was in the world and did not find any good influence there, but he thanks the Holy Spirit for His Divine Grace and Mercy.

God Richly bless you.

Here is Brother Prince’s testimony:

While in prison, I made my mind up, I said, “This is not my life. I don’t know if I have a hope again, so I am going to be strong for myself.” That was my decision.

Fortunately, Brother Macarthy from Voice of God went to this prison. He set up a library there. We used to go to that library and read about a prophet. I said, “Who is this man, William Marrion Branham?” I was told that he was the seventh messenger, and I was told about the book, about a mystery, about a Message... I became convinced, seeing Brother Macarthy’s commitment to the prisoners.

The prison was hell. There was a lot of pain there. A lot of persecution, castigation. Had it not been for the Voice of God, I would have never had a second chance, which was the option to serve God. They used to come to prison and tell us about a about Christ and about the prophet’s Message. Then I challenged God. I said, “February 14 is my birthday. I don’t want to spend my birthday in prison. I prayed this in church and in my prison cell. From there with the faith, I went to God and I was discharged. The case was dismissed; they did not prosecute me.

When I got my freedom, the first person I contacted was Brother Macarthy, and I went to the library to read the books. But my new faith was tested. I asked a boy to get my house key from another boy, and to give it to my neighbor. He took my key, went into my house, vandalized it, and stole everything, even my bedding. I had a conviction from God to let it go. That was hard.

Brother Macarthy and another brother used to come and pray with me. During that time it was a lot of challenge, but I let everything go because of the Word.

Brother Prince’s zeal continued to rise as he was giving his testimony, and Brother Macarthy recorded a few of his words of encouragement for us. The following video is Brother Prince, a recently released inmate in Sierra Leone, Africa, who found the Word of God inside prison and is, today, spreading that same Gospel to others.
