Could it be possible for the Lord to let anyone down? At the very minimum, this brother was going to suffer a life changing injury, or possible death. That was until the Lord heard while he was yet speaking, and let him down just as he had asked.

THE LORD REALLY LET ME DOWN... but oh so very, very gently! Some time ago I was hired to build steps down a cliff that was about 10 stories high. There were places that fell straight down, as was the first section. It fell about 13 feet to a rock platform about four feet wide.

I had finished a platform about 3ftx4ft and steps down from it about 16ft. (Handrails) had not yet been installed.

I was standing on the landing and I tripped on something, and went headfirst towards the flat rock below! I only had time to scream out the name of the LORD, and immediately I was jolted to a STOP about three feet from the rock!

I felt something tight around my ankle and as it I hung there, I was slowly being lowered. As my head touched the rock below, I could feel my shoe being slowly pulled off my foot. Just after the middle of my back was on the ground, my shoe came off and I lay flat on my back!

A vine had wrapped around my ankle and stretched and gave just enough to place me there.

God is a very present help in time of trouble. That vine was already there, so HE surely answers before we call!
