The Little Things

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

1 Corinthians 15:58

A madman, wayward family members, a very important lost possession, and a vital request; this testimony about the little things is worth your time to read.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, Grace be with all the saints. I would like to share with the Bride of our Lord Jesus Christ this testimony to the honor and glory of God. We know that our God is the God of great things, creator of the universe, the author of all life, He who stopped the sun for Joshua, who opened the sea for the Hebrew children to pass, who created squirrels for our prophet, but also is the God of small things, He simply acts on all sides.

Yesterday was a very difficult day for me, mainly in my work. Satan tried to interfere in everything by putting a great oppression on my life, using all means to bring me down.

At the end of the day, I was exhausted so I decided to take a walk before entering into prayer and studying the Word. Already at the end of my walk, I decided (God working at my heart) to visit my grandmother who lives in the parallel street of my house.

When I got there, she was sitting outside with two friends. We talked a little, while another battle came in with all the fury. A man, I did not know if he was over the use of drugs or alcohol, approached us and tried to overpower my grandmother. We entered into my grandmother's house because I did not know what to do, and to our surprise, my grandmother lost her keys amidst the confusion.

We searched everywhere and could not find them. We knew that my grandmother had dropped them, and we were sure the man found the keys.

We still hoped to find the keys in the street, but it did not happen. It was night, and I went home with a certainty that God would turn this into a great testimony for me because the devil was fighting very hard against my life.

I am being blessed reading the Church Ages, and every time I study the Seals and the Church Ages, the devil rises with fury, but God in his Grace always gives me the victory.

I woke up at dawn the next morning and had a very deep communion with the Lord. It was wonderful, and in my prayer I asked God to extend His mercy and give me the keys in my hands.

I went to take my breakfast in a bakery near my grandmother's house, and when I was going up the street, one of the ladies who was with us was waiting for me. She was smiling, saying that the keys were found and that she placed them under the door from my grandmother's house.

I know it was the mighty hand of God that provided all. I ask the Bride of Christ for prayers for my life and of all my family. My dear ones do not know the Lord, but I believe that God will bring them to Him.

God bless all,

A friend in Brazil.
