Ye Are The Light Of The World

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

1 Timothy 4:12

How much does the Bride of Christ mean to the world? We live in a dark place that is dying for just a little sign of love. It doesn't necessarily mean that we have to explain the deep mysteries of the Word, but we have to live the Word before the people. Sometimes that is as simple as showing heartfelt love to the everyday person who is dealing with all the problems that the world has to offer.

This sister came across someone who was is in the valley, and she was ready to share the encouragement that was needed.

Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! I just wanted to share a testimony that happened to me this afternoon.

Several days ago I had gone into the place that I get a coffee on almost a daily basis. There is a girl who works in there that is always so kind to my mother-in-law and me. Usually she seems to be cheerful and in a pleasant mood. However, when I went in there on that particular day, she seemed very down.

So I asked her how she was. To which she replied, "I'm here." My heart went out to her as I could tell she was hurting over something. I told her I hoped her day would get better and that I would be praying for her. She told me that her mother had been sending her videos praying for her. She also told me that her boss has been telling her to go home, and that she had taken a lot of breaks to go cry. I told her she was one of my favorite people that worked there and that she was always so nice to us, so if there was something I could do, I wanted to.

As I was talking to her, I felt on my heart to give her a witnessing card for themessage.com.

I gave her the one that said "The Supernatural." I told her I thought it may be an encouragement to her, and she looked it over and said she had a lot of time so she would check it out.

Well, today I went in and she happened to be working, and I hadn't seen her since I had given her the card. She didn't say much, and her boss was right beside her. She made my coffee and my mother-in-law's coffee, and we went and had a seat to visit for a while. When we were ready to leave, I went to throw my cup away. Usually they write our names on our coffee cups, I almost didn't see what was written, and right as I was about to throw the cup away, I noticed some writing. I looked and instead of my name on it, it said "Thanks for 'the Message'".

I was so surprised, and she was busy and her boss was still there as I was leaving so I didn't really get to talk to her, but she smiled at me.

God bless you,

Sis Sarah from Missouri
