Commit It To Him

So you just commit the whole thing to God and go right on serving God just as happy as you can be. God will take care of the rest of it.

God knows all things. He knows about our most dire needs, and He also knows about the little things that weigh heavily on our mind. There is nothing too big for God, and neither is there anything too small for God.

This brother was worried about a tree that grew so large and so quickly, that it was threatening his home. He placed it into the hands of the Lord, and you are going to be surprised at what happened next. Here is his testimony.

I hope this little testimony will encourage someone to trust God. He knows our needs.

A couple years ago I had a problem with a tree growing on my boundary line at the house. I cut it down but it grew back, and after some time I paid no attention to it. It grew so large and tall until it posed a danger to my daughters and their bedroom. It was so dangerous that I didn’t want to take a chance on cutting it down.

I said to myself, "What am I going to do? It could harm my children and damage my home in a major way." Within my heart I said, "Lord, I do not know what to do, and I lay it down at your feet."

A few days after, my family and I went out for the weekend, and to my surprise when we returned home the tree was not there.

I walked down to the back of my home. The tree was rooted up and fell over into my neighbor’s yard, but did not damage anything. I said, "Praise the Lord."

I went over to my neighbor and inquired what had happened. He said, "For some strange reason a strong wind came and rooted up the tree."

I thank God for He is a very present help in times of trouble.
