Be a hero. I like that. Stand up! A little poem that used to help me so much when I was a kid, goes something like this.

There was a noble Roman,
In the Romans' Emperor days;
Who heard a coward croaker,
Before the castle say:
"Oh, it's safe in such a fir tree,
There's no one can shake it."
"Oh, no," said the hero,
"I'll find a way or make it."

It’s not always God’s way for us to stand and wait for Him to do something. We have something to do! This brother in prison received the Word and acted on it.

After his hopes of being baptized properly were crushed when the warden denied his request, these brothers went above him to the Heavenly Father with their request. Through prayer and sincerity, the answer showed up right beside them with everything falling right into place.

I have been a believer and follower of our prophet for many years, thanks to the love and desire of everyone involved in the Prison Work. Over ten years ago I was immersed in water in the Name of our Precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as taught in the Word and brought to us by the prophet. I wanted to share our testimony and praise report to you.

Recently, about two years now, another brother through tears and prayers has committed himself totally to the Word and has embraced with all his heart the precious teachings of Brother Branham. We appealed to the chaplain about having the brother baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and the Chaplain told us they only baptize in the name of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. We appealed to the warden and received a note that the system only recognizes the titles. Well, we went over the warden’s head, right to the Absolute for help.

We found ourselves praying on a bench, and a laundry cart was there. We looked at each other and said, “It’s ours!” There were three other inmates watching as witnesses. The cart held 70 gallons of water and though we did not know what would happen if we got caught, we started filling it. One guard came by saying he needed the cart. What to do? We looked around and there was another cart, which he said would do. Needless to say we were in constant prayer as guards would walk through the area, but seemed nobody noticed.

Finally, the cart was full. We turned the bucket upside down and just looked at each other and breathed a prayer. The little brother stepped up on the bucket and then into the cart. We immediately went to prayer, he confessed his sins and proclaimed his belief in Jesus Christ to all that were around. I had no trouble immersing the brother completely in the water in that Precious Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It was amazing to see the hush that came over the inmates that gathered when they saw the sincerity that was displayed. What a testimony, what a miracle, every roadblock the devil put before us was broken at that very second. We are now rejoicing in His Name! Please remember all the inmates in your prayers and we constantly keep you and this work in our prayers, for it is our lifeline.
