Do You Fear Cancer?

If there is a feared disease in all the world, it is cancer. It kills upwards of 8 million people each year. Each of us has friends or loved ones who have battled the disease. Doctors have developed ways to slow its progression, but there is only one proven cure.

The Angel of the Lord told Brother Branham, “If you get the people to believe you, and be sincere when you pray, nothing shall stand before your prayers, not even cancer." The following are testimonies from people who believe Brother Branham.

From The Past

Healed in 1948

I was in a revival meeting with Brother Branham in Edmonton in 1948. Also attending was a dear friend, who's wife was at home dying with cancer. My friend joined the prayer line, and while many yards away from the platform, Brother Branham called out to him to say, “You are not from here. Go in peace. God healeth.” And it was so. His wife lived another 28 years...

Stomach cancer

My grandfather told me he was a very sick young man. For many years he suffered from what was believed to be stomach cancer. Finally the doctors removed his stomach at about the age of 38, and sent him home to die. While he was slowly dying at home on Vancouver Island, William Branham came to Vancouver BC. Grandpa made the trip to Vancouver to the meetings, thinking this will be his last chance or he will surely die. William Branham never knew him nor ever met him. He called him out in the audience, told him his name, where he was from, etc. He then prayed "Lord, heal the doctor’s mistakes. Go home. You will be well in three days." Grandpa thought to himself, "I wont last that long." But he had to trust God’s prophet. On the first night after the meeting in the early hours, grandpa said, "I saw a light shine under the bedroom door. It opened and a man in a long white robe, olive complexion, and long black hair, stood at the foot of my bed and just looked at me. And then vanished."

On the second night, the same light shining under the door, same visitation from the Angel, then He just vanished. What happens next is how my grandfather told me exactly what happened on the third night. He prayed before he went to bed, "Lord when You come tonight, please minister to my afflictions." Grandpa said that in the early hours he watched as the supernatural light penetrated the darkness, his bedroom door opened, the Man walked in and sat in a chair next to his bed. “We looked at each other and then I knew, this is The Great Physician. He looked into my eyes and told me He understood how sick I was. Then waved his hand over my body. I was then instantly healed just the way it was said in the meeting, ‘three days you will be well.’" My Grandfather spent the rest of his life preaching the Good News.

God Still Heals Today

Soldier healed of skin cancer

My son called from the battlefield in Iraq just minutes after being told of a terminal diagnosis of melanoma skin cancer to ask for prayer. We hit our knees, and that evening I got on the internet and requested prayer for my son, James. James called me back when he was reassigned to Ft. Sill, OK with a message from the doctor: "I don't know who has been praying for you, Son, but tell them thank you. There has been a bite taken out of that Cancer, and it will do you no harm."

Salivary gland cancer

I am blessed every day by the testimonies of the saints in this website.

As a youth before I heard the Message, I lived as a Pentecostal saint grieved by the backsliding condition in the church. I remember constantly crying and confessing that if salvation is what I see in the Christian circles, then we are lost. There was a family of a newly-wedded couple that shared the same grief and desperation about the condition of the church. The three of us spent Friday and Saturday nights agonizing in intercession for a revival.

For some reason unclear to me, I had fear of cancer and a feeling of helplessness, as the Scripture about Biblical Job encountering the thing he feared most lingered constantly in my mind.

In 1993, for nine months, I had traveled to do an attachment far from the city. Two months after my return, I got a painful lump at the angle of my lower jaw. A biopsy of the same led to a diagnosis of a salivary gland cancer; Adenoid cystic carcinoma. I felt so paralyzed by the news because I knew A-Z about it, as I was studying the same in class. My surgeon was also my lecturer, and the conference to discuss my diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis was a tensed one. He explained how I would need a combination of surgery (removal of my right parotid salivary gland), chemotherapy, and radiotherapy as the cancer is not very responsive to one treatment alone. Surgery would carry a risk of facial nerve paralysis.

The thought of me in these shoes scared me a lot. From there, I left with a referral for CT-SCAN. I spent a sleepless night. The following morning was Saturday. God led me to the house of the couple friends, and I shared the news with them prior to announcing to my parents. These friends had by now received the message and were praying for me already. The sister looked unshaken by the news and smiled saying, "God will heal you, if only you believe." The brother took the Bible and started reading and explaining Genesis story of Joseph; Jesus in type.

I got so excited and stimulated, because I had cried so much when I read about Joseph leaving his brothers to cry aside. I had pleaded God in my college room to open the life of Joseph to me, because it was a mystery. This brother, without me asking, went straight to Genesis chapter 39 and expounded the story. Depression left me, I forgot the diagnosis and we feasted on the Word. I got the revelation of Jesus, His Name and the power in the Name, and the difference between the Name and the titles. I said I need to go to the waters.

The following day, I was baptized, and prayed for over for cancer. I was given "The Revelation Of The Seven Seals” message and "Do you fear Cancer." I fed on these messages so greedily, until the brethren nicknamed me "Thoroughbred."

After CT-SCAN, I testified about my healing to the surgeon. I requested to have a testimonial biopsy and none of the planned treatment. The surgeon got a tissue from all margins. Eight slides were made by the pathologist, and yes all slides were clean; no cancer. None of the planned treatments were done.

The pathologist could not understand when he looked at the slides of the tissue removed after prayers. He came for me in class and showed me the first eight diagnostic slides full of cancer. The second group (tissue taken after healing prayers) fat cells occupied the places of cancer cells. It is fifteen years now since the miracle, and I have seen God identify Himself in His own Character in my life, and that of my beloved husband and two children. Amen.

Tumor

(Referring to the Touched By God article posted on May 4, 2009) This brought back a similar testimony that my mother had at age 51, that I would like to share. It builds our faith so much to hear of the victories that our fellow brothers and sister have.

My mother had a lump in her neck about the size of an egg. It was very noticeable. Her doctor scheduled her for a biopsy. The morning she went to surgery, they gave her the medication to put her to sleep. When the doctor came into the surgery room, she was still awake. Her doctor asked her jokingly, "what are you doing still awake?" He then examined the area where the lump was, and he told her, "Your lump is gone!" She told him that she believed in prayer and that the Lord had healed her. To her surprise the doctor told her that he prayed before every surgery. It is awesome to hear her testimony being told by employees at this hospital. Even the doctor’s wife has told it. God is so good to His people.

God Bless You.

Prostate cancer

I would like to give our gracious Lord Jesus Christ, all the praise the glory and the honor, for what He has done for my family. I recently sent in a prayer request to VOG, via email, for the believers to pray with us, for my father-in-law, who was diagnosed with cancer of the prostate. Believers, He has underwent a radical prostatectomy, and his surgeon also cannot believe that all the cancer was removed. This is truly a miracle. His cancer was an aggressive type, and realistically would have been far spread. He even had typical symptoms of distant metastasis, for example: severe back pain (this cancer loves to spread to bones), even loss of weight, respiratory, and cardiac symptoms. Friends I am a medical doctor. This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you for your prayers with us. May our God richly bless you.

Lung cancer

Old Sister Jacoba. She is 80 years old and was baptized in one off our tent meetings a few years ago. It is such a blessing to have her around you. Last year I got word that she was sick. My wife and I drove over to visit her. When we came there, she was sitting on the bed. So we went in to greet her, and we were amazed because she treated us if we were the sick people.

Her daughter told us that the doctor said they suspect that she might have lung cancer. She refused to believe that, and she was telling us how healthy she feels. The amazing part of this story was when she visited the hospital earlier that same week. She said that she could hardly walk but she had no choice, because her only transport was a taxi which drops them of about five kilometers from the hospital. She walked all the way to the hospital, and after the doctor examined her, he sent her home. She was sitting outside the hospital praying for a transport, and suddenly she herd a voice, "Can I help you." When she looked up there was a young man standing next to her. So she told him her problem, and he said that he doesn’t have a car, but he will walk with her to the taxi rank. And so there journey starts.

She said he was very quiet, but was very patient with her. When she got tired, he told her to rest and never complained or said anything. When they reached the taxi rank, he helped her into the taxi, greeted her, and disappeared into the crowd.

She said, “Pastor, I have never seen him before, but I felt so much peace while I walked with him. When she went back to the doctor there was no trace of lung cancer.

Let Him walk with you.

Tumor

Greetings in the Name of our PRECIOUS LORD.

I would like to share a small testimony and hope that it will be an encouragement to believers. My life as a Christian had not been straight for some years, although I did attend church sometimes. But progressively I seemed to move further and further from the Word. It took the tender loving hand of Jehovah to get me on track.

I was diagnosed with a malignant tumor and had to undergo extensive surgery. The months that followed the operation got me back to prayer, repentance, and complete submission to my Lord. But the test wasn’t over yet. I started experiencing so much pain, that at times I would ask the Lord to take me; after all I did deserve it. But He has been so gracious to me that I can’t thank Him enough for giving me another chance to serve Him totally.

Doctors suspected that the tumor could have spread to other organs. Before going for the scan, I prayed and filled out a Jesus check that there would be no sign of growth. I had also sent a prayer request to VGR for the same problem.

I just want to say that there is no sign of growth or tumor, and I JUST WANT TO THANK THE LORD FOR HIS NEVERENDING MERCIES.

Breast Cancer

On 10/21/08 my annual exam was done and a lump was found on the left breast by the doctor. A mammogram was scheduled for 10/30/08. The mammogram and sonogram showed a lump, and I was scheduled for a biopsy on 11/06/08. I came home and immediately called VOG and many believers for pray.

On 11/6/08 they prepared me for the biopsy and sonogram, and explained the procedure to me. The doctor and his assistant started the sonogram. At this point the Doctor left the room, as the assistant continued the procedure. She hesitated and said, “I will be right back.” Well, she came back with the doctor and he told her to begin again. She did. He said, “Stop the sonogram.” He explained to me that they could not find the lump, I said, “Praise the Lord.”

He said he could not biopsy something that he could not see, so he told me he would take 3 views: 30, 60, and 90 degree views just to make sure. They did the views, and the assistant doing the procedure with the doctor was a Pentecostal girl. She said I was her first miracle; she had never seen a miracle before.

The doctor said, “Here is the view from last week. Here is the lump.” Then said, “Here is the same view today. No lump.” He was very happy for me and told me to go home and would recheck me in 6 months. The entire office was happy for me, and everyone kept patting me on the back. They explained to me that usually they are passing out tears and sorrow, but that today it was different.

I thank the brothers and sisters for their prayers.

I thank God for this Message. It is my Absolute.
