“Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these, my brethren…” is a phrase which brings to mind a teaching that we depend on so much in prison ministry.
Thank you very much for your generous donation of Spanish language Bible study materials, etc… Many of the men here at our facility have a genuine interest in spiritual growth, which not only benefits them here and now, but also is an important factor in their ability to stay out of prison once they are released. Of course, the Eternal benefits are inestimable.
Since we are limited on what we can spend for religious items, the love motivated gifts from organizations like yours make it possible for chaplains to meet the spiritual needs of our “clients.” All too often, it could not be done without the open-heartedness of those who care enough to give. We know our work could not go forward without those who sacrificially give to help those whose circumstances put their futures at great risk. The men of our facility and I are truly thankful for you support and prayers.
Your fellow servant,
Rev., Chaplain
