After almost 9 million cassettes in 42 different languages, VGR will no longer be duplicating cassette tapes. It has become more and more difficult to find quality tape, and fewer and fewer people have tape players. An entire cassette library costs thousands of dollars, takes up a huge amount of space, and is very heavy and expensive to ship. This has caused us to continuously look to find more efficient ways to get the Message to believers.
As we ask, the Lord provides us more tools to serve the Bride of Christ, and MP3 technology is one of those important tools. In MP3 format, one CD can hold over six times the audio of a cassette. CDs are much less expensive, smaller, and quicker to duplicate, which makes it possible to send many more of Brother Branham’s sermons overseas, while also improving audio quality. We have been asked if we will accept used cassettes to send overseas. We appreciate this offer, but we cannot accept used tapes at this time.
We have been phasing out cassettes over the past few years, so the transition should be easy for believers in other countries, and it will allow us to continue to improve our efficiency in serving the Bride of Christ.
