We have received numerous reports that there are 10 believers in Iran, who have been imprisoned on charges of apostasy (renouncing Islam).

Apostasy is a capital offence in Iran, which could result in the death penalty. As believers, it is not our motive to create a conflict with a government or rebel against the laws of the land. We simply want to peacefully worship the Lord in a way that is pleasing to Him. These believers have been denied this, and are now facing serious consequences because of their dedication to their faith. Although this is a desperate time and it seems like we are powerless to help our brothers and sisters in that far away land, Brother Branham taught us to have faith in these moments. He also said the most powerful force that man has is prayer: “Prayer changes things. It's the most powerful force that God ever put in the hands of man, is a sincere prayer offered to God.”
