I count it a great privilege to greet you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This is about the time of year when we usually start changing our duties from printing, translating, duplicating, and distributing the Message to building displays, negotiating with hotels, and organizing travel schedules for the Easter Open House.
It is certainly the highlight of my year when I get to see the love in your eyes and shake your hands at the front door. I feel honored to greet the people who are truly responsible for making the wheels on this machine turn, and I wish I could put into words how much each of you mean to me. As Daddy said, “it isn't Jeffersonville, it's the people who come into Jeffersonville.”
I long to see that great day when we won’t be limited by time or distance. We won’t be worried about finances, health, earthquakes, or world politics; we will just fellowship around the Word of God for eternity.
Even with the economy the way it is and the financial struggles that we all face, I know that many of you would sacrifice anything necessary to make the trip to Jeffersonville at Easter, and that is why we at VGR work so hard to make your visit as nice as possible. Like translating, duplicating, and distributing the Message, I don’t want to do it unless we can do it right.
I have been in prayer about this, and I do not feel to have an Easter gathering this year. My heart breaks when I think that I won’t be able to see you walk in those front doors, but then I am overjoyed with the task at hand: Feeding the Bride of Christ with the pure, unadulterated Word of God. I know that we can all agree that this is a great responsibility that the Lord has given to us. Once again, I am honored to stand shoulder to shoulder with each of you as we work towards finding that last sheep and bringing it into the fold.
Brother Joseph
That's why I want to put all my life for the Lord Jesus, everything that I can do for Him. And I can only serve Him as I serve His people. You can only love Him as you love each other. I can only love Him as I love you and you love me. And together we love God. And we become His children, in that I serve you, you serve me. And that's we're serving God. Jesus said, "Insomuch as you have done unto the least of these little ones, you have did it unto Me." So if we want a blessing, let's be a blessing to someone else, and a blessing will return. Like casting your bread upon the water, it'll return. And that's true. In all walks of life you'll find that. You usually reap just as you sow. So let's do good. Talk good and be kind. And people talk about us, we'll say good things and kind things. And good things will come our way, if we'll give them out.
