If it was an old t-shirt or a pair of blue jeans, we would probably just throw it out without thinking twice. But there are those items of clothing that mean a little more to us, because they have a few memories or they are just special to us. We received the following email and picture from a sister here in Jeffersonville who decided that her husband’s old Catch The Vision T-shirt was just too good get rid of.

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Lord has given me a love for sewing and "recycling" old clothing. I am thankful to Him for the talent He has given me. While doing some recent spring-cleaning, I came across a couple of Catch the Vision T-Shirts that belonged to my husband. The front of them were quite stained up and really needed to be thrown out, but I just could not bring myself to do so. So I held onto them for a few days and put them into my "recyclable" sewing pile in hopes that something would come to me. The Lord gave me a great idea, so I thought I'd share it with you. I can now keep my husband's old shirts for myself and have found a new use for them.

Attached is a picture of my recycled Catch the Vision shirt turned apron.

God Bless you!
